Note :-(a)The spares shall be measured and paid seperately in the relevent items given below.(b) Cost of labour for replacement of spares and transportation are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. Contractor is responsible to ensure that the labour employed should be equipped with safety items like industrial helmet, safety belt, extensible ladder of 40 feet length, plumbing and cuttings tools, etc. 88 (c) The cost of rethreading of GI pipes of 25mm dia and adding of new GI nipple of suitable length after rethreading is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 89 (d) Due to shortage of water in the station, the repair work and testing required under this item need to be carried out during water supply distribution hours i.e. 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Nothing extra shall be permitted in this regard. 90 (e) The cost of repair to the damages of cemented surfaces/ external finishes/ metal clamps of rising pipes are also deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 91 (f)In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 6 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under. 92 (g)If the delay is more then 06 hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 100/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. The nylon bristle brush shall be checked for wear and refixed/replaced if found loose or damaged, ensuring smooth and uniform contact during sweeping operation. Complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge 161 M&L for rewinding of 3-phase squirrel cage induction motor of capacity up to 3 HP, including removing the motor from its base, opening the end covers, dismantling the rotor, cleaning the stator core, removing burnt winding, preparing slots, rewinding the stator coils with super enamelled copper wire of same gauge and turns as per manufacturers specification, insulating with Class F insulation material, inserting wedges, varnishing with high-grade insulating varnish, oven drying, reassembling all components, aligning bearings, replacing terminal leads, testing for insulation resistance and load performance. Work includes cost of copper wire, insulating materials, varnish, labour, and testing equipment. Motor shall be tested under full load conditions for a minimum of 2 hours to ensure proper functioning. Complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge 162 M&L for carrying out repair to 3-phase DOL (Direct-On-Line) starter up to 5 HP capacity, including opening of enclosure, cleaning of all internal components, checking and tightening of loose terminals, replacing defective parts such as contactor coil, contacts, NO/NC auxiliary blocks, push buttons, overload relay, or indicator lamps with suitable rated spares as per original design, servicing of moving parts, reassembly, insulation testing, and functional testing under load conditions. The job includes cost of consumables like contact cleaner, terminal tags, and minor hardware. All replaced parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items. Complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge 163 Taking down defective centrifugal/Monoblock pump set 10 HP to 15 HPby disconnecting the pump from motor after unscrewing nuts/ bolts of coupling, foundation, suction pipe delivery pipes and shifting of pump to workshop for repair/ servicing, comprising strip opening of pump, replacement of any defective parts, carrying out necessary lathe work, re-assembling and shifting from workshop to site, re-installation at location as directed by Engr-in-Charge, testing on full load capacity at least for 8 hrs, complete all as specified and as directed.
