Bids Are Invited For Selection of Laboratories for Testing of Products/Material - Soil; As per scope of work attach; Each Bore hole; As per scope of work attach SOIL INVESTIGATION FOR PROVISION OF BUILDING FOR EX-SERVICEMEN CONTRIBUTORY HEALTH SCHEME (ECHS) POLYCLINIC TYPE D (NON MIL STN) AT BULDANA UNDER GE (SOUTH) AHILYANAGAR (a) Mobilisation of Drilling accessories and Man power at site and demobilization the same after completion of the entire work and carrying out soil investigation by drilling bore holes (150 mm dia in any type of soil & 100 mm dia (Nx size) in rock) upto depth of 10M, respectively and collecting disturbed and undisturbed soil samples/rocks core in 1.00 mtr intervals or at change of strata, for carrying out various tests mentioned below according to relevant specification of IS 2720 and submitting soil investigation report showing detailed calculation of bearing capacity as per IS 8009(Pt-1)-1976, IS 6403-1981,IS 1904-1986 & IS 1080-1985 and other relevant IS codes, all as directed by Engineer-in Charge. (i) SPT value at every 1 m intervals and change of strata. (ii) Grain size distribution and analysis by sieve analysis & hydrometer test. Atterberg limits. (iii) (iv) Value of cohesion and angle of internal friction. (v) Recommended SBC at different depths of foundation and its calculation based on N value, shear strength and settlement criteria (SBC should worked out for following sizes of footings 1.50x 1.50 m, 1.5x2.5 m, 2.0x2.5 m, 2.5x2.5 m, 2.0x3.0 m.) (vi) Bulk density & dry density. (vii) Depth of expansive soil. (viii) Specific Gravity. (ix) Free swell index and swelling properties of soil. (x) Organic matter in soil if any. (xi) Consolidation test (Compression index value), Triaxial Compression Test and determination of shear Parameters (c & D) as per relevant IS. (xii) Harmful salt if any. (xiii) GWT if observed during exploration. (xiv) Recommendation of filling under floors. (xv) Recommendation on type of foundation with depth. (b) Compilation of field and lab test results and submission of four copies of soil investigation report along with photographic record of geo-explorations and Sketch showing depth of strata at every change of strata for each bore hole Total Quantity :
