    Bids Are Invited For Goods Transport Service – Per MT per KM Based Service - Machinery & Equipment; Open Body Taurus; 21 FT Truck 1. The Service shall provide a contract vehicle on as and when required basis, within 07 days from the date of demand, for a duration of one year for to & fro transportation of materials/stores from Sri Vijaya Puram (PIN - 744101) to Diglipur (PIN – 744202), as requested by the Assistant Engineer (T&D), Electricity Department, North Andaman Division, Diglipur. 2. The Assistant Engineer (T&D), Electricity Department, North Andaman Division, Diglipur, will verify and certify the weight of the materials/stores to be transported. 3. The contractor shall submit invoices only when transportation services are utilized by the Assistant Engineer (T&D), Electricity Department, North Andaman Division, Diglipur, within the one-year contract period. 4. The contractor must guarantee the safe delivery of all materials/stores to the destination, taking full responsibility for any transit damages to the materials/stores. Any damage to the materials/stores shall be rectified at the cost of the transporter. 5. The contractor shall provide the right vehicle, for accommodating the materials/stores for safe transit. 6. The loading and unloading of materials shall be carried out departmentally at both the pickup and delivery locations. Total Quantity :
