Tender For Miscellaneous Civil Maintenance Works At Naps Plant Site.; 1 Excavation of earth in all soil for footing, steps etc. in soil up to all depth, filling around foundation and in plinth with selected excavated soil in layers not exceeding 150mm in thickness watering, including dressing of sides and consolidation, ramming of bottom etc. disposing surplus earth with in a distance of 2 km. 2 Providingof JCB machine for Excavation ,spreading and levelingof earth, waste, rubbish etcall purposes including fuel, operator etc all as per direction of EIC. 3 Filling of available soil mix with cement including supply of cement@ 5% of weight of dry soil, mixing with Diesel Mixture, watering, consolidation etc. up torequired depth in layers not exceeding 150mm in thickness. 4 Supplying and laying cement concrete 1:3:6using graded stone aggregate of 20mm maximum size including, Scaffolding, formwork, consolidation, finishing,surface, needlevibrators and curing by hessian as per specification and drawing. (Cement content. 220 Kg./ M3). 5 Supplying and laying cement concrete 1:2:4using graded stone aggregate 20mm maximum size including mixing, Scaffolding, form-work, consolidation, finishing, surface, needlevibrators and curing by hessian complete for all works(Cement content 330 Kg/Cum ) including repair and as per specification. 6 Supplying and laying Reinforced cement concrete 1:1.5:3using graded stone aggregate 20mm maximum size for different works (beam, slab, drain covers etc. wherever required.) including Scaffolding, formwork, mixing, consolidation, finishing, surface, needlevibrators and curing by hessianetc. complete as per specification and drawing etc. complete. (Including disposal of damaged pre cast cover and fixing new in position where necessary). (Cement content is 350 kg / M3). Note:-i)-Steel reinforcementwill be paid separately in relevant items. 7 Supplying delivery,and placing in position T.M.T bars of grade FE-500 or higherfor all reinforced cement concrete work including cutting, bending, fabricating, fixing and tying in position with 16 gauge soft drawn annealed binding wire with chairs, supports etc. complete including cost of binding wire as per specifications and drawing (Binding wire will not be measured for payment). 8 Supplying fabrication, bolting, welding, threading, handlingerecting and embeddingstructral steel (Pipe, Angle, Flat, Plate,Tee, Hollow section)for misc. civil work as per requirement including anchoring with required size anchor bolt as per site requirement etc. with red oxide primer & two coat of Synthetic enamel paint complete. (Note - No seperate payment will be made for providing anchor bolts for anchoring and their weight will not be considered for payment). 9 Supplying and laying Bricks Masonry using locally available brick of uniform shape {average size-225mmx105mmx65mm (± 5mm)} of Class designation 7.5in cement mortar 1:6 at all elevation including, simultaneous pointing below plinth level and racking out joints above ground level, curing as per site requirment using hessian etc., Scaffolding and form work etc. complete. 10 Laying of Bricks Masonry for pitching / soling/ brick work using old available brick in cement mortar 1:6 including, removing of brick, cleaning of old bricks simultaneous pointing below ground level, and racking out joints above ground levels curing scaffolding etc. complete as per specifications. 11 Providing and laying 115mm thick soling with brick of uniform shape {average size- 225mm x 105mm x 65mm (± 5mm)} including leveling and dressing the surface by cutting, transporting and filling the earth, complete to the required level and shape laying bricks with joints staggered and filling with earth and disposal of surplus earth upto a level of 2Km all as per specification. 12 Breaking of brick work/ PCC (Plastered / unplastered)and stacking of all usable material in civil stores, disposal of all rubbish and brick bats up to a lead of 2 Km. by tractor, trolley along with driver & required manpower, required Scaffolding will be provided by the contractor at his own cost. 13 Breaking ofRCC, cutting of reinforcementanddisposal of all rubbishup to a lead of 2 Km. by tractor, trolley along with driver & required manpower, required Scaffolding will be provided by the contractor at his own cost. 14 Dismantling / removing existing Acid Alkali resistent tiled lining including mastic from walls, floors drain etc. complete in all respects cleaning and stracking of serviceable tiles for re-use under item No.-36 below, disposal of unserviceable materials, rubbish etc. within a lead of 2 Km. by tractor out side plant site in lowlying areas. 15 Providing & laying 15 mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 to brick or concrete surface etc. including scaffolding, preparation of surface, hacking, removing of loose materials cleaning of joints, finishing curing complete all as per direction of EIC. including disposal of rubbish. 16 Providingflush pointing on brick work, patch work on brick wall with cement mortar 1:3 including racking out joints, cleaning brick work, scaffolding and curing etc. complete. 17 Removal of existing A.C/GI sheetand stacking of all usable material in civil stores, disposal of all rubbish anddamaged sheet up to a lead of 2 Km. by suitable means & required manpower, Scaffolding as required will be provided by the contractor at his own cost. 18 Supplying & fixingof 6 mm thick (Average)A.C. sheet of M/S Evrest / Uppal / Charminar / JP make for roofing with all accessories such as J or U Hooks, Nuts, GI andBituminous washer etc over purline, rafteretc. including removal of existing damage sheets, Scaffolding as required will be provided by the contractor at his own cost all complete. Note: No Over-lapping will be paid. 19 Supplying and fixing 22 gauge corrugated/ plain G.I.Sheet of M/S TATA, M/S JINDAL, M/S SAIL make, fixing over roofing includingG.I. Plain Sheet for drain, G.I.J orU bolts & nuts of requireddiameter with bitumen & G.I. washers to be fixing over existing purlins etc. includingfixing of wind ties at all heights ,Scaffolding as required will be provided by the contractor at his own cost all complete. Contractor will have to carry out repair of brick work / concrete at the ends of sheets by providing requisite materials (Cement , Aggregate etc.), manpower, scaffolding at his own cost. Also, contractor has to carry out two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer over existing ties,trusses, purlins and all its components, etc. Cutting chases in brick work/ concrete for fixing of trusses, purlins & sheet and subsequent repairing at his own cost Note: No Over-lapping will be paid. 20 Replacement of Gypsum board, A.C. sheet, GI Sheet, Metalic false ceiling board with the material supplied by the department with necessary arrangment of supporting frame for which all material will be supplied by department at all height and location etc. complete. 21 Providing and fixing door frame made outof M.S. angle 50x50x6mmwith suitable rebate, four nos. 125mm long M.S. hinges, three Nos. 300 mm long M.S. hold fast of 35x5mm flat on each side including supplying and fixing minimum 35mm thick Flush shutter with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of make Berger / Asian / dulex over acoat of primer and putty. 22 Fixing of door / window frame with shutter in position, line and plumbs with hold fast in cement concrete block complete. 23 Providing and fixing window shutter frame made out ofseasoned sheeshum wood of size (75x30) mm, preparation of surface, painting two coat of S.E. paint make Berger / Asian / dulex over one coat of primer including removal / cutting of existing damaged frame matching. 24 ApplyingInterior plastic emulsion paintinTwocoatson walls and ceiling of T.B, S.B. etc. including preparation of surface removing of stains by rubbing the surface, applying putty, sand papering and includingscaffoldingprovided by contractor for painting andas per Industrial Safety requirements. Note : Plastic emulsion paint will be supplied by the department. 25 Applyingsynthetic enamel paint in one coat including preparing the surfaces, filling with putty wherever required, scaffolding & cleaning etc. complete. Note: Synthetic enamel paintwill be supplied by the department. 26 Applying ofEpoxy paint as per specification including preparation of old painted surface by removing, grinding and loose scaling repairing of damage concrete and including full heightscaffoldingprovided by contractor for painting and as per Industrial Safety requirementsapplying epoxy putty as per requirment and painting the surface with One coatto give smooth and even surface floor & wall by brush.(Epoxy paint and thinner will be supplied by the department). Note: (1) Work is to be carried out in the radiation areaso TLD to be arranged by the contractor from HPU section (NAPS). (2) Baricating arrangement till drying of paint to be made by contractor.In T.B. and other area of zone I & II. 27 Applying ofEpoxy paint as per specification including preparation of old painted surface by removing, grinding and loose scaling repairing of damage concrete and including full heightscaffoldingprovided by contractor for painting and as per Industrial Safety requirementsapplying epoxy putty as per requirment and painting the surface with One coatto give smooth and even surface floor & wall by brush.(Epoxy paint and thinner will be supplied by the department).Note: (1) Work is to be carried out in the radiation area mostly, so TLD / DRD to be arranged by the contractor from HPU section (NAPS). (2) Baricating arrangement till dry of paint to be made by contractor. In Reacter building , Service building & other radiation area. Zone III & IV. 28 ApplyingExterior Plastic Emulsion Paint inTwocoatson walls and etc. of T.B, S.B., CWPH, RWPH etc. including preparation of surface removing of stains by rubbing the surface, applying putty, sand papering and including full heightsteel H-Frame scaffoldingprovided by contractor for painting and as per Industrial Safety requirements. Note :Plastic emulsion paint will be supplied by the department. 29 Supplying & applying one coat of coal tar epoxyof M/S Berger, Asian make on existing floor of cooling tower (NDCT & IDCT) clarifier, floor, wall, columns & any other areas as per requirement etc. Including cleaning andpreparation of surface by grinding machine , emery paper , sand paper etc. as may be requiredand including full heightscaffolding provided by the contractor for paintingetc. complete at his own cost as per specifications. 30 ApplyingInterior cement primer inonecoaton walls and ceiling etc. including preparation of surface removing of stains by rubbing the surface, applying putty, sand papering and including full heightscaffoldingprovided by contractor for painting and Industrial Safety requirements. Note : Interior cement primer will be supplied by the department. 31 ApplyingExterior cement primer inonecoaton walls etc. including preparation of surface removing of stains by rubbing the surface, applying putty, sand papering and including full heightscaffoldingprovided by contractor for painting and Industrial Safety requirements shall be followed. Note :Exterior cement primer will be supplied by the department. 32 Providing and attending the misc. nature of jobs in different building excluding material etc. Note :- works of one person in 8 hrs shall be deemed as one activity in Unit. 33 Jobsrelated to Skilled Manpower such asplumber/ mason/ carpenter/ painter/Data recorder etc.for misc. civil maint. work.One activity consists of workof one skilled manpower in a day for 8 hours . 34 Nature of jobsrelated to Semi skilled Manpower persons . for misc. civil maint. work.One activity consists of workof one semi- skilled manpower in a day for 8 hours . 35 Nature of jobs related to Unskilled Manpower persons for misc. civil maint. work.One activity consists of workof one Unskilled manpower in a day for 8 hours . 36 Providing and attending the misc. nature of jobs in different building excluding material etc. on overtime basisafter normal duty as per item no. 10 Note :- (i) works of one person for 1 hrs shall be deemed as one activity in Unit. (ii) Deduction of 1 hour for duty done after 8 hours shall be done for determination of overtime period. 37 Execution of jobs mentioned in Item no. 32.1 (Skilled Manpower) above beyond 8 hour of duty in a day. 38 Execution of jobs mentioned in Item no. 32.2 (Semi-Skilled Manpower) above beyond 8 hour of duty in a day. 39 Execution of jobs mentioned in Item no. 32.3 (Unskilled Manpower) above beyond 8 hour of duty in a day. 40 Cleaning of NDCT basin and hot water ducts, and IDCT cold basin dewatering, making of concrete / brick wall water tight barrier for stopping of coming water after fixing gate and filling earth bags in between gate and jali, collection of all muck removable by water washing and other waste basin by using brooms, brush etc. including dismantling of barrier and removal and disposal of all muck and other materials by providing tractor with driver & manpowers to average lead of 5km. All the materials such as aggregate, sand, cement bricks for work tools and plants empty bags etc. to be arranged by contractor (Pumps will be supplied departmentally for dewatering). Removal of Jali and refixing jali is also to be arranged by contractor. Note: Payment will be made on the basis of volume of muck removed from basin. 41 Cleaning of hot water basin in IDCT after removal of A.C. Sheets rubbing the floor and wall etc with wire brush after removal of water, cleaning with bleaching powder etc. Complete. Note:- (a) During execution of above items the debris of any kind produced shall be disposed off to the areas directed by the engineer on daily basis at no extra cost and rate is inclusive of this work. It shall be ensure that no chocking or damage to lines and equipments while carrying out these work since the works shall be taken up in plant shut down and hence the contractor shall arrange to do the work accordingly. (b) AC sheets shall be supplied free of cost by the department for replacing or damaged A.C. Sheets. (c) Pucca area surrounding IDCThas to be cleaned of rubbish vegetation plants etc. work including this, no extra shall be payable. Note: Payment will be on the basis of number of operation carried out for one IDCT during shut down. 42 Laying of Acid / Alkali resistent tile lining on floor or walls in following sequence including supply of short tiles approximate 10% tiles may be required. (a) One coat of Prod. Dor lac spl. (b) Providing 20 mm Coromastic. (c) Tiles laid in cement prodor S.K. Bedding thickness 6mm. (d) Racking out the joint upto adepth of 18mm and width 6mm with grinding machine and pointing with furacin mortar all complete as per specification and as directied by of Engineer.(No material shall be issued by department. Contractor has to arrange at his own). 43 Racking out the joints existing acid / alkali resistance tile lining on floors and walls, 6mm wide and depth of 12 mm with grinding / cutting machine. Repointing thise joints with furacin or equivalentmortar. (No material shall be issued by department. Contractor has to arrange at his own.) 44 Providing and fixing premium quality mat finished Anti skid ceramic floor tiles of required size and 6mm thickness ofH&R JOHNSON or KAJARIA or NITCOorSOMANY or equal range in price / quality as approved in required shade, laid on average 20 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) including cleaning and applying cement slurry @3.3 kg/ sqmgrounting the joints including covering of floor tiles with PVC sheet protect the tile from painting stains and scratches during various finishing activities including finishing, curring and dismantling of existing floor / tiles and remove the debris etc,at all level etc. all complete. Note- Contractor may be required to provide extra mortar bed at various locations to provide adequate slope. Such extra mortar more than 20mm will have to be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment will be made for the extra mortar. 45 Providing & layingofrequired size and 6mm thickness shade and series Glazed tile ofH&R JOHNSON or KAJARIA or NITCO or SOMANY or equal range in price / qualityfor dado of WC bath and toiletwith necessary specials etc. over average approx. 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 bedding to true plan & slope, close jointed & pointed with adhesive mortar,curing, cleaning and applying cement slurry @3.3 kg/ sqm including grouting the joints complete including removal / dismentling of existing or damagedtiles and disposal of debris at a designated place. Note- Contractor may be required to provide extra mortar bed at various locations to provide adequate slope. Such extra mortar more than 20mm will have to be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment will be made for the extra mortar. 46 Providing and laying vitrified tiles (Double charge)of size 595mm x 595mm(Approx. thickness - 8 mm)ofmake in H&R JOHNSON or KAJARIA or NITCO or SOMANY or equal range in price / qualityinas approved all colours & shade, in skirting & riser of steps, over average 12mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 jointing with grey cement slurry @3.3 kg / sqm including grouting the joints with required cement including finishing, curing and dismantling of existing floor / tiles and remove the debris etc,all complete as per specification. Note- Contractor may be required to provide extra mortar bed at various locations to provide adequate slope. Such extra mortar more than 20mm will have to be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment will be made for the extra mortar. 47 Providing and laying of 15 mm thick (Approx.) approved GRANITE STONE flooring in glass finish gloss of approved shade in proper alignmentsover average20mm thick bed with cement mortar 1:4to give zero width of joints etc. complete for floor and skirtingincluding removal of existing flooring and disposal of debris at a designated place all complete. Note- Contractor may be required to provide extra mortar bed at various locations to provide adequate slope. Such extra mortar more than 20mm will have to be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment will be made for the extra mortar. 48 Providing and laying machine cut double polished uniform colour best quality KOTA STONE slab minimum 18mm thick in requiredsizelaid over average 20mm thick bed with cement mortar 1:4 for floor, skirting and steps, joints with colour matching cement, rubbing, polishing, rounding of edge wherever required & curing etc. complete. Note- Contractor may be required to provide extra mortar bed at various locations to provide adequate slope. Such extra mortar more than 20mm will have to be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment will be made for the extra mortar. 49 Grinding and polishing by machine offloorsetc after plugging holes, repair of defects etc. complete upto the satisfaction of Engineer. 50 Carrying out injection grouting to all existing cracks to prevent water seepage etc. at a pressure of 2 to 3 kg/cm2 with low viscosity epoxy by providing non-returnable packers as per site conditions. 51 Fixing of barbed wire in position to the existingpoles / Y-post in horizontal row with G.I. wire/pins providing holes in the Y-Post etc. complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer. Note:- Barbed wire shall be supplied by department free of cost. 52 Removal of existing damaged water proofing treatment of tarfeltment etc. transporting, unloading from roofs , and disposing the debris at the place upto lead of 2 km as per instruction of engineer including cutting of drain if required for drainage of rain water all complete. 53 Providing and laying Heavy duty APP membraneof modified polymer of Pidilite / Texsa / S.T.P make reinforced with polyster mat in minimum 3mm. Thicknessconforming to specification over one coat ofprimer of Berger,Asian, Nerolac make (oil based) jointing the strips and bottom by torch welding finish with super silver shield for roofs and parapet including testing of the treatment as per specification for water tightness as per instruction of engineer including repairing of expansion joint with polysulphide as per requirement at main plant buildings etc. Note- If leakage is observed from the APP membrane portion, contractor will have to remove and relay the APP membrane. 54 Fabricating out of 22 gauge 800 mm wide G.I Sheet flashing as per site requirement, cutting chases in brick work/ concrete and fixing flashing with concrete etc. including removal of existing expansion joint treatment and prepared approximately (150 X 150) mm. Size concrete bund 1:1.5:3both side after fixing the G.I Sheet over expansion joint and laying APP membrane as per directed by engineer-In-charge. APP membrane item will be paid in relevant item. 55 Supplying & Laying 80mm thick (± 3 mm) cement concreteinterlocking paver block of M-40 grade as per technical specification (minimum compressive strength 400Kg / cm2 & water absorption should not be more than 6% by mass) having smooth finish and of approved size and design/ shape laid in required colour and pattern over brick soling by providing 50mm thick compacted bed of Ganga Sand / Natural Sand / Other approved sand and filling the joints with same all complete as per the direction of Engineer - in - charge.
