H.C Puming units-2no-Providing, Installation, testing and commissioning of 50000 GPH X 150 Mtrs. Head ( 02 Nos.) Horizontal centrifugal split casing pump with slow speed motor at CPS Muthi by way of excavation of earth work for laying of RCC foundation block. The job includes Construction of foundation block for installation of 50000 GPH x 150 Mtrs. Head Horizontal centrifugal pump set at CPS Muthi. by way of dismantling of old foundation blocks with the help of required tool and tackle and manual labour as per site requirement and also disconnect the existing machinery from bends etc and place that machinery as per space at site. Disposing off the excavated material from the site to distance of at least 0.50 Km with the help of manual labour and mechanical transport. Job includes digging of pit of size 6’X3.5’X4’and disposal of excavated material from the site of the work to the place of dumping. Providing/Lying of RCC foundation block of size 5’X3.5’X5’( 1’above the ground level) in 1:2:3 cement concrete mix having requisite reinforcement with 12 mm dia. tor steel from center to center with proper spacing. Fabrication and fitting of foundation bolts duly welded with cross members and threading at top with nut. Foundation bolt shall be welded with tor steel and firmly grouted in the cement concrete mix, plastering and finishing from outside. Fitting of base frame plate on the top of the block and leveling it both horizontally as well as vertically. Strengthening of the base frame by providing and welding of M. S. channel cross members of required size and as per the size of frame for giving extra strength against vibration of the unit and on full load running conditions. Complete job includes cost of material and labour charges for laying of the foundation block, plastering and finishing. Placing horizontal centrifugal pumping unit on the base frame by using hydra crane, chain block, manual labour and other tools and tackles. Leveling of the pump and motor properly on the base frame and coupling them by fitting of the M.S. coupling bolts with nuts rubber bushes and M.S. fasteners required for horizontal centrifugal pumping unit base connections with base frame .Job includes cost of material, carriage of machinery and allied materials to the site of work, loading/unloading and allied charges. Suction Line: providing, fabrication, laying of suction line of MS pipe of dia 150 mm. of length as per site requirement. Proper beveling of MS pipe for v-butt welding joint with existing pipe. The job includes Providing and fabrication of MS bends of 150 mm dia out of MS pipe 150 mm dia. Providing / fabrication / fitting of MS flanges-4no wherever required and with the one flange compatible to be fitted the suction flange of both the pumps. Job includes providing and fabrication of MS Bends of 150 mm dia –wherever required. The job also includes providing and fitting of sluice valves of 150 mm dia. (CS material)- 02no.(01no.for each suction line of 02 pump sets) On suction lines. Providing ,fabrication and fitting of MS flanges at both end of sluice valve as per site requirement. Delivery Line: Fabrication of delivery line by providing and fabrication of MS pipe 125 mm. upto manifold/Rising main. Proper beveling of MS pipes for V-butt welding joint with existing pipe. Job includes fabrication/fitting of MS Pipe 125 mm dia. upto manifold/rising main . Job also involves making interconnection with manifold/rising main with the delivery flange of newly installed pumps. The job involves fabrication/fitting of MS bends as per site requirement no-02 out of 125 mm dia. MS pipe. Fabrication of 04 no. MS flange of 125 mm dia. to match delivery flange of the pump and welding of flange with one end of the bend. makes interconnection of rising main as required/manifold with delivery pipe. Job also includes providing/fitting of sluice valve (CS)-2no and reflux valve of 125mm-2no (CS material) on delivery side of each pumpsets by the way of welding for on delivery line . All the welding work shall have to executed butt pre heated high pressure welding electrodes from root run to cap seal in three layers and all the flanged joint shall be jointed with rubber sheets and nuts bolts. Complete testing of the motor on the no load and on the full load .The panel shall be dust and vermin proof fabricated out of 14/16 SWG CR sheet supported on M.S. angle of suitable size and having provision for fixing it on the ground with the help of foundation bolts. The panel should be sturdy enough for vibration free operation and should be equipped with suitable locking /sealing arrangements. The structure should be provided suitable entry and exit holes for incoming and outgoing cables. The panel should be given two coats of anti rust primer and two coats of steel grey enamel paint. Providing and fixing AL strips (25 x 6 mm) earthing upto ground level. Providing and filling of charcoal and salt in layers for proper earthing and filling of excavated pits with good earth. Providing and laying of ½” dia. GI pipes with funnels on upper side above ground level for watering purposes. Earthing of LT control panel and voltage stabilizer by using GI strips / copper cable 25 x 6 mm properly tightened with nuts and bolts. Job also includes providing and fitting of 550 Amp contactor for unit no.4. 350 KVA Voltage stabilizer:- Providing, installation, testing and commissioning of 01 No. 350 KVA, 3 phase, copper wound, oil cooled manual voltage stabilizer, with operating voltage of 320-480 Volts and operating frequency of 47-53 Hz at CPS Muthi. The stabilizer should be provided with digital voltage and current display for independent phases with selector switches along with RYB phase indicators. Stabilizer should be provided with independent phase correction regulators along with change-over switch. Job also includes making space (as per site condition) for LT control panel and stabilizer by shifting of old machinery as directed by incharge JE for ease of connections. Job also include Providing, installation of Air circuit breaker (ACB) of 630 amp between stabilizer and transformer The stabilizer should be mounted on unidirectional wheels. Shifting of stabilizer to site of work by means of mechanical transport, skilled labour and crane. Unloading and positioning the new stabilizer at actual site of installation with crane and skilled labor. Filling the stabilizer with transformer oil up to required level. Making of all the incoming and outgoing connections of stabilizer and transformer. Testing of stabilizer on no load and then on full load conditions. Complete job including cost of material, labour, carriage charges, hire charges of mechanical transport, crane etc. Job includes providing, laying and fitting of 400 mm2 3.5 core Al cable of required length as per site condition from transformer to stabilizer along with thimbling ,Job also includes providing, laying and fitting of copper cable of 195 mm2 single core (of required length as per site condition) fitted between connection plate of motor to Lt control Panel with copper thimbling and 400 mm2 3.5 core Al. cable of required length lying between Voltage stabilizer to LT Panels with proper thimbling and insulation of suitable specification. Job includes cost of material special crimpling tools and handling charges. Job also includes Providing/ fitting/ testing of (02 no.s) electro-magnetic flow meter on delivery lines for measurement of discharge of water from newly installed pumping units -2no having digital display device should be mounted on wall of pump room. The job also includes Painting by way of Scratching of rusted portion by emery papers on both laid suction and delivery pipes if any and making an even surface for painting of the pumping equipment. Painting of all the suction, delivery pipes with one coat of red oxide and then painting of all the pumping equipment with two coats of synthetic enamel i.e suction , delivery, sluice valves, reflux valves, etc. Job also include providing and fitting of 2no flood lights .Job also includes necessary repairs to EOT crane also.
