Tender For Construction Of Garrison Road At Adhoc Stn Hq Wuzur Under Ge 861 Ews 1 Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in Hard / Dense soil complete all as specified and as directed. 2 Description all as item ser No 01 above but depth exc 1.5 mtr and not exc 3.00 mtr depth and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and as directed. 3 Surface excavation n.exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in Hard / Dense soil complete all as specified and as directed. 4 Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm exc 50mm and n exc 100mm deep and removing thereof complete all as specified and as directed. 5 M&L Hardcore of broken stone or boulders of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed. 6 M&L PCC type D2 (1:4:8) (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed. 7 M&L Reinforcement cement concrete M-25 (design mix) (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in Foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed. 8 M&L Reinforcement cement concrete M-25 (design mix) (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in Walls, retaining walls, basement walls, ballast walls and the like; any thickness; above top of footings; including attached pilasters and buttresses concrete complete all as specified and directed. 9 M&L Reinforcement cement concrete M-25 (design mix) (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in Slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like complete all as specified and directed. 10 M&L formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter flat or rough finished surface of concrete complete all as specified and directed. 11 M&L formwork to faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railings and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses, etc.; vertical or to batter flat or rough finished surface of concrete complete all as specified and directed. 12 M&L formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work; not exceeding 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) flat or rough finished surface of concrete complete all as specified and directed. 13 S&F TMT steel bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed. 14 M&L for Soling (or sub base) of 150mm spread thickness with broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber by power roller exc 10 tonne and n exc 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. 15 M&L 150mm thick (7.5cm thick two layer compacted thickness) WBM of granite, trap or basalt, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required by power roller exc 10 tonne and n exc 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. 16 M&L preparing existing black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor through air jet to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 sqm of road surface by sprayer operated hot pressure machanism, providing, laying, spreading 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) of premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 10 to 12 tonne power roller and vibromax roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.NOTES :- (i) Job mix formula shall be approved by CWE. (ii) Paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 for tack coat and bitumen of grade VG-30 for semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used.(iii) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from NABL laboratory as decided by GE.(iv)The contractor shall quote his rates by considering binder content @ 5% of total mix by weight. However, in case of any variation in weight of binder content on lower side as per actual design mix, the same shall be adjusted @ Rs 60/- per Kg of bitumen. 17 M&L for Premixed bituminous, macadam using 4% binder content of paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 by weight of total mix (consolidated thickness 75mm or less), laid with using mechanical paver and compacted to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and as directed.NOTES :- (i) Premixed Bituminuous Macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper.(ii)The exact bitumen content required shall be determined followingthe Mix Design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sith Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111:2009. The adjustment in rate shall be priced at the rate of Rs. 60.00 per Kg of bitumen. 18 M&L applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with paving bitumin at rate of 10 kg per 10 sqm using bitumen of grade VG-10 complete all as specified and directed. 19 M&L Precast cement concrete (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in kerb stone of size (450mm x 350mm x 150mm) for fixing in road edges set in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed. 20 M&L preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and directed. 21 M&L adequate nos of coats of painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow complete all as specified and directed. 22 S&F 450mm dia Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP3, laid and jointed complete with collars complete all as specified and directed. 23 M&L cement concrete (1:3:6) type C2 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in Concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and completely surrounding pipes with concrete after they are laid and tested; in complete with collars complete all as specified and directed. 24 M&L Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete all as specified and directed. 25 Removing surplus excavated material / soil n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed. 26 Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm. getting out from hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed. 27 Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and as directed. 28 M&L PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling in and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed. 29 M&L Walling of squared rubble, regular coursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed. 30 M&L raised pointing in CM (1:4) to square rubble, coursed and un-coursed rubble masonry complete all as specified and as directed. 31 M&L PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping including necessary formwork, weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles as directed. 32 M&L extra over stone walling for hammer dressing to face stones and dressing of face beds and joints, for lime or sand stone n exc 40mm as specified, of random rubble, walling, uncoursed or brought upto course complete all as specified and as directed. 33 M&L precast cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in precast bond stone including necessary form work and set in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.NOTE : Deduction for bond stone shall be made from stone masonry walling. 34 M&L for boulder filling dry, hand packed tightly, as in vertical bunds with sloping face etc complete all as specified and directed. 35 S&F 110mm bore PVC(SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to wallsas in weep holes complete all as specified and as directed.
