1Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary. (a)Depth upto 150 mm.
2Construction of Sub Base using Local Materials, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface, including screening the metal as necessary, mixing by mix in place method withRotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, lighting,guarding and barricading including cost and carriage of all materials and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre wide on each side to protect the edges complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).i) For Construction of Sub Base by compacting. i) 1st class brick aggregates (40 mm down) and sand (in proportion of 60:40) 1st class Brick aggregates (40 mm down).
3Water Bound Macadam Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal / Laterite chelly or stone metal / shingles of specific size in hard crust to requisite thickness (measured after compaction) in layers including screening of metals etc. as necessary, hand packing, sweeping, watering and rolling in stages with power roller to proper line, grade and camber, lighting, guarding & barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side where necessary to protect edges and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling and rolling all complete including the cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machineries and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (i) For Construction of Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal (63 mm to 45 mm) with moorum screening :
4Wet Mix Macadam Base Course Providing, laying, spreading and compactinggraded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadamspecification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base / Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with Vibratory Roller to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control complete as per Clause 406 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H(5th Revision).
5Prime Coat:Providing and applying primer coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 and requisite quantity on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer using Mechanical means including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per Clause 502 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). For WBM / WMM Surface: (with primer @ 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm)
6Bituminous Macadam using Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light duty).Laying Bituminous Macadam of specified grade using Hot Mix Plant (HMP) and using approved aggregates conforming to specified grading and bitumen over prepared surface, including carrying the hot premixed materials by means of tipper truck, spreading, the mixed material at specified laying temperature over the prepared surface by means of a suitable paver finisher, tamping and finishing the mix to specified grade, line and camber, thorough rolling with suitable power rollers for break down, inter-mediate and finished rolling as per specification, hand packing and pinning to give an even surface including cost and carriage of stone materials & bitumen, and hire charges of HMP and all other machines and equipments, cost of fuels and lubricants and wages of operational staff, quality control as per IRC Specification all complete excluding cost of applying tack coat, asper specification for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT &H (5th. Revision)B. For Grading II (19 mm nominal size, 50-75 mm thick.)
7Tack Coat:Providing and applying tack coat using Cationic bituminous emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS : 8887-1978, over prepared surface including cleaning of surface with mechanical broom, moistening the surface, applying tack coat including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machineries and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (i) On Granular surfaces treated with primer(Using Bitumen emulsion at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm.)
8(ii) On Bituminous Surface(Using Bitumen Emulsion at the rate of 0.20 to 0.30 kg per sqm.)
9Open-Graded Premix Surfacing:Providing, laying and rolling of Open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm (@ 0.018 m³ per m²) and 11.2 mm (@ 0.009 m³ per m²)size stone aggregates, including thoroughly cleaning of the surface, screening, cleaning and pre-heating stone chips and fully pre-coating the same either using viscosity grade paving bitumen or cut-back or emulsion, carrying the mixture by any suitable arrangements, laying the mixture uniformly over the surface, including line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) and thoroughly rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades including the cost and carriage of stone chips and matrix, heating the matrix, preheating the aggregates to required temperature and including the hire charges of Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) and other machinery, pay of operators, cost of fuel and lubricants etc. complete to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 508 for Rural Roads of MORD.
10Providing and laying Premixed Seal Coat (Type B) with approved quality sand/grit @ 0.6 m3/ 100 m2 and bitumen binder on thoroughly cleaned black top surface coated with tack coat, including heating and mixing cleaned sand/grit (100 % passing through 2.36 mm sieve and retained on 180 micron sieve) uniformly with bitumen binder, laying and spreading the mix at an uniform rate using suitable means, brushing the surface, if necessary, to ensure uniformity, followed by rolling with power roller including the cost and carriage of binder and aggregates, cost of heating the binder and aggregates and all other incidental charges, cost of fuel and lubricants, including hire charges of machineries, tools & plants required for construction and quality control complete as per Clause 511 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
11Ordinary Cement concrete Mix (1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement, if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes.
12Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering & necessary staging upto 4m using approved stout props & thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slab, beams & columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing & striking out after completion of works(upto roof of ground floor). (f) 25 mm to 30 mm shuttering without staging in foundation.
13Removal of rubbish, earth etc. From the working site and disposal of the same beyond the compound, in conformity with the Municipal/ Corporation Rules for such disposal, loading into truck and cleaning the site in all respect as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
14Erection of Single Steel tubular pole of length as given below with/without sole plate & Cap etc. in CC foundation (Proportion and dimension indicated below), having 600x600x150 mm thick CC (4:2:1) base block below sole plate/pole with hard jhama metal including CC (6:3:1) muffing 0.30 mts. dia and 0.30 mts. above ground level including 3 mm thick neat cemented finish and GI earth bolt after making drilled holes etc. on pole & carriage of pole upto 1.6 Km from Store to work-site including filling up the excavated earth pit with shifted soil and ramming properly
15Supplying and Drawing 1.1 KV single core stranded \"FR\" PVC insulated & unsheathed single core stranded copper wire (Brand approved by EIC) of the following sizes in the prelaid polythene pipe and by the prelaid GI fish wire and making necy. connection as required.3 x 22/0.3 (1.5 sqmm)
16Painting steel tubular pole including projected arm bracket with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats with silverlac Al. paint etc. (Scraping where necessary).Painting upto7 mtr Pole
17Earthing with 50 mm dia GI pipe 3.64 mm thick x 3.04 Mts. long and 1 x 4 SWG GI (Hot Dip) wire (4 Mts. long), 13 mm dia x 80 mm long GI bolts, double nuts, double washers incl. S & F 15 mm dia GI pipe protection (1 Mts. long) to be filled with bitumen partly under the ground level and partly above ground level driven to an average depth of 3.65 Mts. below the ground level as below:a) By TATA-Medium GI pipe
18S/F M. S. loop box (10 SWG) of size 10.3/4 “x 8.3/4” x 5\"(269mm x 219mm x125mm) having almirah type cover complete with special type locking arrangement including S/F 8 “x6” x1/4\" (200mm x 150mm x 6 mm) bakelite sheet 1 no. 4-way ebonit connector block, 1 No. 15 Amp fuse unit fitted inside the box and suitable size danger board riveted on cover of the box outside & fixing the box with pole by means of M.S. Clamps of 1\"x1/4\"(25mm x 6mm) of suitable length and encasing the box by 1:3:6cement concrete with graded stone chip (3/4\" down). The depthof the concrete should be 60cm x 54cm x 54cm includingplastering and neat cementing and S/F 2 Nos. compression glandof suitable size and making all necessary connections as reqd.
19Supplying & Erection of big size feeder pillar box of Size (1372 x 914 x 607 mm) made up of 3.15 mm thick MS Plate along with suitable M.S. Angle. The P.B. have double hinge door at the front & back with suitable locking arrangement. The box will be painted by 2 cores of aluminiam paint over 1 coat of red oxide paint. Suitable arrangement should be provided for fixing of Timer unit, fuse unit & other accessories. Leg of the pillar box will be900 mm in length by made up of (35x35x3 mm MS Angle with suitable base Plate. Legs of the Pillar box will be erected at 300 mm below the ground level with cement concrete (6:3:1). Rest portion coverd by 5\" Brick Wall with plastering & net cement & bottom portion filled with silver sand as drawing & direction of E.I.C.

22Supplying and fixing compression type gland complete with brass gland, brass ring & rubber ring for dust & moisture-proof entry of XLPE/PVC armoured cables as below : upto 16 sqmm
23Finishing the end of following XLPE/PVC armoured cables by crimping method incl. supplying and fixing solderless socket (Dowels make), tapes, anticorrosive paste & jointing materials : 4 core 16 sqmm cable
24Dismantling steel tubular/Rail/Strut embedded in CC foundation incl. excavation, filling of holes, restoring surface, loading at site and delivering, unloading, sorting, stacking properly at any place as per direction upto a lead of 1.6 km
