| 38 | Note for item No 12.00 to 16.00:- (i) Complaints pertaining to the above works shall be received and duly recorded by the contractor or their representative in the complaint register at the Water Supply Complaint Cell of AGE E/M No. 1,Filtration Plant. Tradesmen shall be deployed at this location to attend to the complaints (ii) All required stationery such as complaint books, job cards, etc., shall be arranged by the contractor. (iii) Necessary tools and equipment, including ladders (wooden/steel/aluminium of appropriate size), required for attending to the above complaints shall be arranged by the contractor. (iv)All complaints shall be resolved within 12 hours of registration, including Sundays and holidays. In case the contractor fails to rectify the complaint within the stipulated time, a recovery at the rate of Rs. 1500.00 per day per complaint shall be made from the RAR/ Final Bill/ or the next due payment.(v) The cost of excavation and earthwork shall be deemed included in the quoted unit rate. (vi) GI pipe exceeding 1.00m in length (including taking down), when incorporated as part of the rectification work, shall be measured and paid for separately under the relevant items of the BOQ.(vii) The cost of GI pipe upto 1.00m, GI fittings, flanges, socketed clamps, and other accessories required to be replaced during the execution of the job shall be included in the quoted rates. No extra payment shall be made to the contractor on this account. (viii) The rate quoted by the contractor for the above works shall be deemed inclusive of the requirements mentioned above. No extra payment shall be admissible on this account. |
