Tender For - 02 Raising, Strengthening Of Left Embankment Of Outfall Channel Of Akharpur Khal With 20 Cm Thick Dry Brick Pitching For A Length Of 60 Metre At Mouza Akharpur, Block Basirhat I, District North 24 Parganas Under Basirhat Irrigation Division. - 1 Earthwork supplied by boat within a lead of 8.0 KM & all lifts for making embankments or for repairs to embankments, closing breaches or for any other purposes including loading, transporting, unloading and spreading in layers of 25 cms as per profile, all lifts bothways and head load including breaking clods, rough dressing ramming etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 2 Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same inlayers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile 3 Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm. 4 Supplying Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles at work site, including dressingand making one end pointed. (ii) 12.5 cm av. diameter 5 Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles. (ii) 12.5 cm av. diameter 6 Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bullah wailing pieces and cross pieces etc. complete with cost of all materials and carriage to site. (iii) (a) Width of thinner end above 10 cm. and less than 15 cm.(i) Jhaw / Eucalyptus. 7 Supplying to site and pitching with 1st class kiln burnt or picked Jhama bricks including dressing, ramming and preparing bed to proper slope complete with necessary earth work not exceeding 300 m.m. in depth and filling gaps with powdered earth or local sand etc. complete ( The rate is including cost of sand).c) 20.00 cm thick 8 Providing and laying pre-cast brick block pitching of required size (53Cm. x 53 Cm, x 25 Cm. or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge ) with 1st class kiln burnt bricks in cement mortar including flush pointing on all faces except exposed face which to be plastered with 19 m.m. thick cement plaster , curing, dressing, ramming & preparing subgrade in slopes & bed complete with necessary earth work not exceeding 300 mm in depth with all leads & lifts including cost of all materials/ blocks up to site by all means of transport. The gap between adjacent blocks will not be more than 10 m.m.(Sand, cement mortar mix for making blocks, pointing & plastering is1:4) 9 Making filter with well graded 40 mm down ballasts and laying uniformly behind weep holes, below pitching on bed, side slopes including supply and carriage of all materials to site including preparing bed with earthwork up to 30 cm depth, where necessary and compacting with wooden malllet after laying to achieve designed section as per directionof the Engineer- in - Charge (measurements will be on finished work / in stack after deducting necessary void).) (b) 1st class brick ballast 10 Making sausages Square or Rectangular in section (any length) made with 1st class kiln burnt / 1st class picked jhama full bricks rolled inside with 10 S.W.G. galvanised square pattern (internal dimension of mesh will be 100 m.m. x 100 m.m. square) galvanised wirenet caging with proper lapping of minimum 150 m.m, and sewing with 12 S.W.G.galvanised wire including cost of all materials, carriage upto site, placing and laying the same in position, after preparing the bed to proper slope etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (cost is excluding the cost of end pieces.)i) 0.75 metre x 0.45 metre nominal section 11 Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed andraking out joints including threading, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor).[Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface]With 1:4 cement mortar (b) 15 mm thick plaster 12 Neat cement punning about 1.5mm thick in wall, dado, window sill, floor etc. NOTE: Cement 0.152 cu.m per100 sq.m. 13 Cutting uprooting and clearing jungles including shrubs, water weeds, bushes, trees, plants, upto 30 cm. girth including removing as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 14 Labour for taking out old soling edging including removing debris. (b) Double flat soling 15 Labour for laying soiling with departmental bricks including carriage of departmental bricks within a lead of 150 metres preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with brick joints properly filled in and packed with local sand or powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar materials below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) (The item included the cost of obtaining local sand or powdered earth) (b) Double brick flat soling (thickness 75 mm. plus 75 mm) 16 Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction.(b) Double brick flat soling (thickness 150 mm.) 17 Brick edging 75 mm wide with picked jhama bricks, laid true to line and level including cutting necessary trench in soil or in hard metalled surface, laying the bricks and repacking the trench (on both side of the edging) with spoils and ramming the same thoroughly complete as per direction. (b) Brick-on-end edging (250 mm) depth.
