Approved detergent shall be used.(e) Disinfect the tank with FOA/WHO specified chemical and make the tank totally bacteria free.(f) Apply a coat of black bituminous paint on tank man hole covers including surface preparation.(g) Writing of the date of cleaining of the water tank with white letters on black background.(h) Remove the blockage from inlet/outlet/overflow pipes,refill the tank with water and supply water at supply timings ensure satisfactory distribution.Note: For Item No 58 to 65 contractor should complete tank cleaning within 5 hrs. |
