Tender For Patient Care Services At All Wards Of Barc Hospital, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai, 400094 => Limited; 1 FOUR TIME PER DAY as per following schedule and details 2 1. Daily transfer of food from kitchen to various Wards (Wards - 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, 4A, 4B, etc.), distribution of food to all patients as recommended by dietician - Approx total- 390 Beds. 2. Thorough cleaning of trolley before and after use as per recommended procedure and parking the cleaned trolley near kitchen at specified place 3. Cleaning of patients lockers and food table before and after every meal as per recommended procedure 4. Collection of used plates from each patient serve in wards, carrying the same to washing station, washing and drying of plates, spoons, glasses, bowls, water jug and arranging the same in racks after drying. 3 TWO TIME PER DAY as per following schedule and details 4 1. Boiling of milk, serving to patients in cleaned cup/glass, Collection of used cup/glass after consumption of milk by the patients, carrying the same to washing station, washing and drying and arranging the same in racks after drying.2. Preparation of tea and serving to patients & nursing staff in cleaned cup/glass, Collection of used cup/glass after consumption of tea by the patients and nursing staff, carrying the same to washing station, washing and drying and arranging the same in racks after drying. 5 AS REQUIRED PER DAYas per following schedule and details 6 1. Assisting nursing staff for patient care including giving a sponge bath, mouth and hand wash, combing hair, helping them to wear cloths, etc., Measuring the urine output, Providing urinals and bedpans to bedridden patients as and when required, clean the patient and wash and disinfect the articles after every use.2. Assist the nursing staff in bed making/soiled and dirty linen changing. Give primary wash to soiled linen with Sodium Hypochlorite solution.Handing over the used and the soiled linen to Laundry. Receive washed linen from laundry and arrange them systematically in the linen cupboards. 3. Helping the nurses, doctors during any surgical or medical procedure. Assist for pre-operative local preparation 4. Carbolization of cots after discharge/ transfer of patients. Bringing the indented materials from Pharmacy and Store and arrange them in their respective places.Prepare dressing materials in night shift.Carry the dressing materials to CSSD for sterilization. Bring the sterilized materials back to the ward.Checking the oxygen cylinder after every use and transport and replace the empty cylinder with new cylinder from stores.(2 persons) 7 Operation Theatre 8 1. Prepare OT bed according to the position of the patient and give proper position to patient before every surgery under the guidance of OT technician. Keeping the patient shifting trolley ready after every surgery.(2 persons) 2. Prepare formalin containers for storing specimen, Prepare plaster trolley, preparation of slings for orthopaedic patients, Arranging consumable items in racks and cupboards, Wash and clean OT foot ware before surgeries. (2 persons)3. Packing and Disposal of bio-medical waste in every shift according to infection control policy, Loading and unloadingunsterile and sterile linen and instruments to CSSD.4. Assisting surgical team and OT technicians during surgeries, Keep a strict count of used mops and gauze after every surgery, Provide necessary supplies to circulating and scrubbed Nurse and OT technicians during surgeries. 5 . Surface disinfection of medical furniture, equipment, walls in each OT after each surgery.Emptying urine bags during surgery and before shifting patient out of recovery unit to the department. Arrange complete OT attire of doctors, nurses and technicians for next day’s surgery.6. Washing and rinsing surgical instrumentsWashing and rinsing surgical instruments with disinfectant solution after every surgery.Handing these instruments to CSSD technician after washing, drying Washing suction bottles, suction tubes after every surgery. Washing blood soaked linen immediately with sodium hypochlorite, rinsing with clean water, drying, segregating and counting all OT clothes, hamper bag after surgery before its transportation to hospital laundry washing.7. In two shifts Cleaning of OT Complex Carbolization of OTs every night. UV radiation Cleaning the whole OT complex with disinfectant solution on every Sundaywith mechanical scrubber, Cleaning and disinfection in between two surgeries, Surface disinfection of furniture, walls, trolleys.Proper aerosol spraying with recommended disinfectants in each evening in all OTs. Carry out dusting, remove cob-webs. 8. Transportation Safe handling and transport of consumables through OT complex, Assist patient transfer from OT table to stretcher trolley and shift the patient to recovery room accompanied by surgical team,Transporting body tissues and body fluids from OT to laboratory, Assist OT technicians in transporting biomedical equipment and empty medical gas cylinders within OT -complex whenever required, Prepare tea in every shift and bring breakfast and lunch from kitchen for doctors, Bring indented consumables from Pharmacy and store.(3 persons) 9 Artificial Kidney Dialysis activity AS REQUIRED PER DAY as per following schedule and details 10 Artificial Kidney Dialysis Prepare bed for dialysis patient.Serve meals to the patient under supervision of nursing staff.Count and send the soiled linen for wash and after counting, arrange the washed linen in cupboards.Disposal of bio-medical waste.Carbolization of dialysis Chair and machine after each dialysis.Keep the solution cans of dialysis ready for use.Carry the Wash the renal trays and gown pack send them to CSSD for autoclaving.Prepare the gauze for patients’ use. 11 ICCU, SICU, MICU,NICU,Cath Lab Patient and Equipment Handling AS REQUIRED PER DAY IN ICCU/SICU 12 ICCU, SICU, MICU,NICU,Cath Lab Patient and Equipment Handling: Operation and replacement of Oxygen cylinder.Equipment handling in emergency i.e. ECG machine, SPO2 machine, ventilator, infusion pump defibrillator and all accessories.Helping bed patient for personal care like sponging, mouth wash, hand wash, etc.Helping nursing staff for the procedures on patient like intubation, putting ventilator, transferring patient from bed to trolley, etc.Subordinate staff has to be very alert and quick for assisting in patient care system in these areas.(3 persons ) 13 CASUALTYactivity AS REQUIRED PER DAY as per following schedule and details 14 1. Assisting Staff Nurse for bed making.Collection, sorting, counting, taking all dirty linen to Laundry, getting back cleaned linen and arranging the same properly in linen cupboard.Getting breakfast for doctors every day.Receiving all serious patients in wheel chair/trolley from hospital gate to Casualty and shifting on bed.Taking patients to referred department like X-ray, Orthopaedics, Surgical, for consultation and admission patients to ICCU/Ward on wheel chair/trolley.Taking blood, urine samples to Pathology.Taking and getting back CSSD items every morning and evening.Taking instruments for repair to BMEU Dept, civil complaints, etc.Getting patients’ medical files from Record Room after 6pm daily, on holidays and in the absence of patients’ relative.Helping doctors and staff nurses in preparing minor OT, during surgical/orthopaedic procedures and in emergency cases like trauma, violent psychiatric patients, alcoholic withdrawal, etc. for smooth management. (2 persons) 2. Provide urinals and bedpans to bedridden patients, clean the patient and wash and disinfect the articles after every use.Transporting patients from Casualty to respective wards after admission.Taking patients to CT scan department and back to Casualty 3. Pantry work like making tea for doctor and staff in all shifts. Washing of all utensils used for tea making, drying and keeping in specified place/rack.
