    Tender For Replacement Of 180+50 T Eot Crane At Mixer Bay, Steel Melting Shop – 2 Design, engineering, procurement, manufacture, fabrication, supply, transportation, insurance, storage, handling, construction, erection, testing, commissioning and stabilization of 180+50 t EOT crane at mixer bay in SMS#2,BSL” along with all required accessories.  Dismantling of 01 no. existing EOT crane (180 + 50 t x 34 m span) along with all required facilities including electrics and instruments in mixer bay of SMS#2 after erection of new crane Mixer bay of SMS#2 has two nos. 4-girder EOT cranes of capacity 180T+50T, span 34 m for handling of 120/130T hot metal ladles from Blast Furnaces. Mixer cranes are critical equipment, and their smooth functioning is essential to meet the production targets of SMS#2.Both the cranes were installed in 1983 and are in operation since then. After giving service of more than 40 years, various components of the Mixer crane no.2 have developed abnormalities and have lower reliability.
