| 1 | Maintenance of lawns and gardens by deploying adequate manpower, materials, tools/ tackles etc including plants, hedge, trees, shrubs, flower beds, foliages, creepers etc.,in the lawnby deploying required man power (Malis, helpers etc complete) subject to the notes below, as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in-charge comprising of mainly following operations:(a)Watering entire area of the lawns, plants and shrubs in the lawns, hedges and flower beds dailyexcept rainy season with suitable PVC lead hose pipes and sprinklers to keep the entire lawn / hedges & edges /plants and shrubs/ flowers bedswithin the lawn area in enlivened and well maintained conditions. (b) Sweeping the lawn area as per the schedule, removal of dry leaves, watse papersand any other waste, removing unwanted vegetation, old dead plants andreplacing with new ones (c) Trimming of plants/trees/shrubs, Replacemenrt of dead plants withnew ones (d) Hoeing, weeding out the lawns / hedges & edges /flower beds, around the plants and shrubs in the lawns, removingof dry leaves, unwanted wildgrowth and disposing the same as direcetd(e) Mowing the lawns with power mower driven Once in a month (Petrol / diesel operated) lawn mowing machines,sweeping oflawnarea including diesel/petroland other consumables(f) Applyinginsecticide, pesticide & fertilizers (as and when required)(g) Trimming ofHedges and edges as per the schedule in decorative fashion/straigthtrimming by deploying skilled Mali as directed by the Engineer in chargeto line, level & design(h) Top dressing of lawn with good earth mixed with manure or sludge in the ratio of 2:1 by volume (2 parts of good earthto 1 part manure) and maintenance of other garden related works in every alternate months. (i) Maintain the lawn, plants, hedges in lush green throughout contract period.(j) Disposal of cut plants with in plant premises upto 2 kms lead as direcetd by the engineer, burn the same under controlled fire conditions with all safety precautions and including all other such related and incidental activitiesand expenditure to keep the lawn in lush green andeye pleasing condition etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. Note : Cost of Good Earth, Manure, Fertilizer, Insecticide, Pesticide will be paid separately & lawn mover and brush cutter with fuel, other T&P material/ articles shall be provided by the contractor. |
| 2 | Providing and laying Neelgiri/Mexican/Korean grass turf or approved quality with earth 50mm to 60mm thickness of existing ground prepared with proper level and ramming with tools wooden (Dhurmos) and than rolling the surface with light roller make the surface smoothen and light watering with sprinkler and maintenance for 60 days or more till the grass establish properly, as per direction of officer-in-charge.(Note: cost of manure and good earth will be paid separately) |
| 3 | Providing manpower, tools/tackles etc. for periodical maintenance of hedge/plantby loosening the bed soil, cutting the hedge once in a month to line, level & design, daily watering the soil bed, making chennels, disposal of cut plants within plant premises or upto 2 kms lead etc., applying farm yard manure with good earthin the ratio of 2:1 by volume (2 parts of good earthto 1 part manure) at frequency of once in Two months.NOTE: 1) Unit of measurement is per sqm per month. Length at the top width is taken into account for themeasuremnt. However complete hedge maintenanace as indicated above shall be done and the Rate shall be Quoted accordingly. 2) Cost of manure will be paid separately. |
| 4 | Providing manpower, tools/tackles etc. for maintenance of trees/ plants/ flowerbed/flower pots (Out side garden features), jobs like making of basin at regular interval, daily watering, weeding, trimming,loosening the bed soil with frequency of once in month & application of manure/ fertilizer to plant etc complete as and when required and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge.Note- Cost ofManure/Fertilizer will be paid separately. |
| 5 | Providing and applying of Pesticides including all materials, manpower and toools/tackles etc., to control the termites, Insecticides and pests in lawn and plants with Chlorpyriphos 20% EC, Mono crotophos 36% SL and Premise 30.50% IP or Equivalent as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. |
| 6 | Supplying,applying and staking of farmyard manure for plants, lawns etc. at every alternate months or as per instruction of Engineer in charge, including transportion, spreading etc., complete as directed by the Engineer - in - charge. |
| 7 | Supplying and stacking red soil suitable for Horticulture including royalty , preparing surface area,weeding and spreading of red earth in measured thickness, leveling and compacting if necessary etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Chage. Note: Earth measured in stacks will be reduced by 20% towards voids for payment purpose |
| 8 | Supplying, transplanting and maintaining in good condition of seasonal seedlings(3 varieties in 3 seasons) and maintaining the same throughout the contract period from date of transplanting and as per direction of officer-in-charge, including cost of labour, etc., complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge.Note: Cost of manure will be under relavent item. |
| 9 | Supplying and applying of UREA to the plants & lawns for maintain in lush green condition, including transportation ,spreading,wateringetc. and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge. |
| 10 | Supplying and applying of DAP to the plants & lawns for maintain in lush green condition, including transportation ,spreading,wateringetc. and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge. |
| 11 | Cleaning the grass and uprooting undesired plant/bushes havinggirth upto 10 cms measured at a height of 1 mts from groung level, disposing the waste material to the burning yard (within a week after cutting) and burning the same under controlled fire conditions etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge. |
| 12 | Prepration & Supply of Flower Bouquets not less than 200 mm dia for the plant ocassions in HWPM Plant as per instruction of Engineer - in - charge. |
