Tender For Scrap Belts Removal And Transportation Of Old Belts => Limited; 1 530000945 TRANSPORTATION OF OLD CONVEYOR BELTS LYING SCATTERED ALL AROUND AT DIFFERENT LEVELS OF JUNCTION HOUSES,TO TRUCK APPROACHIBLE AREA,CUTTING,CLEANING AND ROLLING THE CONVEYOR BELTS,LOADING THEM ON TO TRUCK/TRAILERS,WEIGHING,TRANSPORTATION TO STORES AND UNLOADING. 599.000 TO 1,581.47 947,300.53 2 510004397 REUSABLE FABRIC CONVEYOR BELT PIECES ROLLING AND STACKING AT DESIGNATED PLACES FOR REUSE. 4,000.000 RM 40.13 160,520.00 3 510006216 ASSISTING IN PULLING AND LAYING OF EXISTING CONVEYOR BELT / NEW CONVEYOR BELT 4,000.000 RM 25.84 103,360.00 1 Item no:1- 1)Separation of repairable/reusable and non-repairable/ unusable conveyor belts from the belts removed from conveyors from all corners and different levels of the plant and to shift them to truck approachable area. 2)The non-repairable belts should be rolled to a minimum of 25 Mts wherever possible and should be transported to VSP stores following the procedure laid down by VSP for such returns. 3)The party should transport the conveyor belts irrespective of the quantity for each trip, depending upon VSP requirement. 4)Before lifting the belt on to the trailer/ truck the agency should take a Scrap Return Advice(SRA) from site-in-charge/concerned department official. 5)The gross weight of the truck/trailer has to be measured from the VSP weigh bridge. After Weighment, unload the scrap belts at Disposal stores.After unloading, tare weight of the truck/ trailer has to be measured. 6)Dully filled in weigh bridge slip and Scrap Return Advice should be submitted along with RA Bill Invoices. 2 Item no:2- The job includes segregation of good portion of belts which are generated during belt changing and which can be reclaimed and reused. These good portions of belts are to be rolled and kept separately at designated places for their reuse as directed by Engineer-in charge. 3 Item no:3 Activities in providing assistance include shifting and laying of wire rope for pulling of belt, Shifting and positioning of clamp sets as instructed. Assistance in shifting and positioning of various tools such as chain pulley blocks, max pulls, slings etc,. And assistance in removing old belt and laying new belt etc. 1 The contractor should follow the safety and labour rules, which are in force in VSP. 2 The work if required should be organized round the clock and in short notice. 3 Crane required if any should be arranged by the party at their own cost. 4 Wherever crane approach is not there, the existing facilities of VSP like telfer/crane may be used to lower the belt from galleries to ground floor where agencies crane can approach. 5 In case of yard conveyors, which are not approachable by agencies crane, the yard equipment may be used to shift the belt rolls to crane approachable area in consultation with shop (O). 6 Required tools, tackles and safety appliances are in the scope of the contractor. 7 The transporting vehicles like Trailer/truck/crane etc are in the scope of agency.The transporting vehicles should have valid certificates of registration, pollution under control and insurance and the copies shall be submitted to the Engineer in-charge as and when deployed. 8 GST clause: The scope of materials supply and consumables supply in the present proposal are as follows. a. Materials to be supplied by VSP: Nil. b. Consumables to be supplied by VSP: Nil. c. Materials to be supplied by contractors: Nil. d. Consumables to be supplied by contractor : Nil The deduction of GST shall be done as per the rules prevailing from time to time. 9 The contractor shall ensure usage of ISI marked regulators, hoses, nozzles, cutting torches, welding holders and cables for the cutting and welding works if any .This must be adhered to strictly. 10 Scrap belt generated during belt changing that may cause safety concern for men/ machinery has to be shifted to designated place within next working day. Any delay in execution of above work, a penalty of 0.5% of the value of BOQ No: 01 will be levied for each delayed day if the delay is attributable to contractor. Quantity of BOQ NO.: 01 for penalty will be calculated using the following formula. Quantity of BOQ No.: 01 = (Length of belt not shifted[in M]X width of belt [in M] X 1.12)/100 Tons
