Tender For Internal Painting Of Kv, Iit Kanpur; 1 FINISHING 2 12 mm cement plaster of mix: 3 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) 4 15 mm cement plaster on rough side of single or half brick wall of mix: 5 1:6(1 cement: 6 coarse sand) 6 6 mm cement plaster of mix: 7 1:3(1 cement :3 fine sand) 8 6 mm cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement and thick coat of Lime wash on top of walls when dry for bearing of R.C.C. slabs and beams. 9 White washing with lime to give an even shade: 10 New work (three or more coats) 11 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : 12 Two or more coats on new work 13 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade: 14 Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture 15 Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. 16 Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 gram/ litre, of approved brand andmanufacturerincluding applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour 17 Old work (one or more coats) 18 White washing with lime to give an even shade: 19 Old work (two or more coats) 20 Removing white or colour wash by scrapping and sandpapering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete 21 Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete. 22 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade: 23 One or more coats on old work 24 REPAIRS TO BUILDING 25 Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. 26 With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand) 27 Dismantling and Demolishing 28 Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead. 29 NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND MATERIALS 30 Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type orof approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge 31 25 mm average thickness 32 Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as perspecifications and direction of Engineer- In-charge complete in all respect. 33 Epoxy bonding adhesive having coverage 2.20 sqm/kg of approved make 34 MINOR CIVIL MAINTENANCE WORK: 35 Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gms/litre, of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour complete, as per manufacturers specification.
