Tender For Provn Of Toe Wall With Cattle Fencing Around Airfield In Ops/Tech Area At Afs Bihta; 1 Excavation in trenches n. exc 1.5 m wide for foundations, laying cables/ pipes etc. not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in SOFT/LOOSE soil complete, all as specified. 2 Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50m and making good surface in SOFT/LOOSE soil complete, all as specified. 3 Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers notexceeding 25cm thick complete, all as specified. 4 Removal of excavated surplus spoil to a distance n. exc. 50m and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified. 5 PCC type B-1 (1:2:4), using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in wall and retaining wallsecuring chain link fencng from bottom side, complete all as specified. 6 PCC type C-1 (1:3:6) using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in foundation, filling & mass concrete, securing chain link fencng from bottom side, complete all as specified. 7 PCC type D-2 (1:4:8), using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as in foundation,filling & mass concrete, complete all as specified. 8 Brick work using bricks as specified in PS-II clause 5.1, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.00 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4), complete all as specified. 9 Use & waste of formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter with rough finished surfaces of concrete, complete all as specified. 10 Mild steel works in hand rails, half round or other stock section or core for wooden handrail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) in-cluding all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., confirming to Fe-290-Gde E-165, complete all as specified. 11 Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut,exceeding 5cm not exceeding 10cm long, dia of neck 11 to 15 mm, complete all as specified. 12 Supply only chain link mild steel galvanised hot dippedfencing (mesh size not more than 75mm x 75mm of 10 gauge wire and weight exc. 3.00 kg/Sq.m) complete all as specified.NOTE:- The weight of chain link fencing shall be ascertained by BOO as ordered by GE and payment shall be made acoordingly. 13 Fixing only chain linkfencingincluding line wire mesh, any mesh, size and type to any types of standards rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete, all as specified. 14 Mild steel round bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, for chain link fencing complete, all as specified. 15 Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed, (each line wire to be measured)complete all as specified 16 Rendering 15 mm thickon fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and fairon walls in cement mortar (1:4)complete all as specified. 17 Two coats of cement base paint on wall surfaces including preparation of new surfaces complete all as specified. 18 Two coatsof synthetic enamel paint over & including a coat of red oxide primer over steel or iron surfaces of any description not other wise described over 10cm width or girth including preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified. 19 Two coats of synthetic enamel paint over & including a coat of red oxide primer oversteel & iron (new) surfaces of any description, not exceeding 10cm in width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in a different tint complete all as specified.
