Tender For Annual Survey Of Fact Pragatiyan Barge - 2025; 1 Replacement of damaged/dented hull plates in FACT Pragatiyan BargeScope of work includes:# Cutting and removing damaged/dented steel plates in hull of FACT Pragatiyan Barge.# Fitup & welding of new IRS grade A plates in damaged portions of the hull.#Carrying out NDT tests like dye penetrant test, magnetic particle test, hose test, RT etc.. in steel renewed regions as per theecommendations of IRS.#Painting of two coats of primer in steel renewed regions. Primer to be used shall be epoxy zinc phosphate paintNote: Entire welding works in hull shall be done by IRS qualified welder.Entire work shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge 2 Procurement of structural required for repair works of the hull in FACT Pragatiyan Barge:Scope of work includes:#Procurement of structural required for the repair works in hull of FACT Pragatiyan Barge.# Procured structural shall be confirming to IRS Grade A/IS 2062 Gr.A/BR specification.# Quoted rate shall be inclusive of transportation charges, loading /unloading charges and handling charges at site.Entire work shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract andas per instructions of engineer-in-charge 3 Replacement of damaged/dented structural of hull in FACT Pragatiyan BargeScope of work includes:# Cutting and removing damaged/dented structural of hull in FACT Pragatiyan Barge.# Fitup & welding of structural in damaged portions of the hull.#Carrying out NDT tests like dye penetrant test, magnetic particle test, hose test, RT etc.. in steel renewed regions as per therecommendations of IRS.#Painting of two coats of primer in steel renewed regions. Primer to be used shall be epoxy zinc phosphate paint chromate paint.Note: Entire welding works in hull shall be done by IRS qualified welder.Entire work shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge 4 Replacement of damaged D type hollow fenders in FACT Pragatiyan BargeScope of work includes:# Removing damaged D type hollow fenders fixed to sheer strake of the barge# Fixing the new D type hollow fenders supplied by FEW# Fasteners required for fixing the new fenders shall be in scope of contractor.Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge. 5 Bend correction of handrail, midrail and stanchions of FACT Pragatiyan bargeScope ofwork includes:# Straightening / replacing the bent/damaged handrail, mid rail and stanchions of the barge located at weather deck of the barge.# Plates, pipes and solid rods required for the replacement shall be in scope of contractor.# Contractor shall assign skilled fitters & welders for the replacement/ repair works in handrail, midrail and stanchionsEntire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge. 6 Replacing damaged steel plates & structural invalve operating platform of FACT Pragatiyan bargeScope of work includes:# Dismantling damaged /corroded steel plates & structural in valve operating platform.# Fitup & welding of new steel plates & structural in valve operating platform.# Contractor shall assign skilled fitters & welders for the steel renewal works in valve operating platform.Necessary scaffolding required during the replacement of steel plates & structural shall be in scope of contractor.Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge 7 Painting of waterline to deck region of FACT Pragatiyan barge:Scope of work includes:# Cleaning of waterline to deck region of the hull by high pressure water jet cleaning.#Application of one coat of epoxy finish paint on waterline to deck region of the hull.#In case of rusted regions on hull, same shall be buffed and two coats of epoxy zinc phosphate primer and two coats of epoxy finish paint shall be applied.#Paint & thinner required for thejob shall be in scope of contractor. Shade of the applied finish paint shall be same as that of the existing shade.Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge 8 Painting of weather deck of FACT Pragatiyan barge:Scope of work includes:# Cleaning of weather deck of the barge by high pressure water jet cleaning..#Application of one coat of epoxy finish paint (green) waterline to deck region of the hull.#In case of rusted regions on weather deck, same shall be buffed and two coats of epoxy zinc phosphate primer and two coats of epoxy finish paint shall be applied.#Paint & thinner required for the job shall be in scope of contractor. Shade of the applied finish paint shall be same as that of the existing shade. Paint & thinner required for the job shall be in scope of contractor.Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge. 15 Cleaning of cargo hold & ballast tanks in FACT Pragatiyan BargeScope of work includes:#Clearing muck, sludge & mud accumulated in cargo hold & ballast tanks. # Cleaning the spaces inside cargo hold & ballast tanks for the inspection of IRS.Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge. 16 Rectification works in main engines and auxiliary engine of FACT Pragatiyan:Scope of work includes:# Replacing 4 nos. of faulty ball valves at suction anddischarge sides of sea water pumps of main engines.(Valve size -40NB)# Modification of cooling water line in auxiliary engineas per the site requirement.#Overhauling of basket strainers of the sea water pump of main engines. Overhauling works include cleaning of strainer, repairing threaded ends of the strainer, replacing gaskets etc..Spares required for the rectification works in main engines and auxiliary engines shall be in scope of contractorEntire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge. 17 Providing aluminium roofing sheetsat accommodation deck of the barge:Scope of work includes:# Providing aluminium roofing sheets at accommodation deck of the barge. Aluminium roofing sheets procured shallbe corrugated and colour coated# MS square tubes/angles/channels, self tapping screws and brackets required for the fixing the aluminium roofing sheets shall be in scope of contractor.Contractor shall assign skilled fitters & welders for the fixing of aluminium roofing sheets.Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of the contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge 18 Service of IRS class approved NDT service providerScope of work includes:Providing service of IRS class approved NDT service provider having expertise in Dye penetrant test, UT, RT & MP at various stages of repair works.Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge. 19 Providing assistance to miscellaneous works:Scope of work includes providing assistance to miscellaneous works that are not mentioned in schedule of work
