Introduction: This scope of work outlines the requirements for the repair of a damaged arbor from the Hot Rolled Slitter at Pune. The arbors thread has been damaged, necessitating repair to restore operational functionality. 2. Scope of Work: The vendor shall be responsible for the following: • Inspection and Assessment: o Conduct a thorough visual and dimensional inspection of the damaged arbor to determine the extent of the damage. o Conduct inspection of arbor with dial gauge to Check Run Out- Radial and Axial o Conduct inspection with of Arbor to check parallelism o Axial Play o Provide a detailed report outlining the inspection findings and proposed repair methodology. • Repair of Damaged Thread: o Machine or repair the damaged thread to restore its original specifications. o Utilize appropriate materials and techniques to ensure the repaired thread meets or exceeds the original strength and durability r equirements. o If necessary, create new thread to the original specification. o Ensure proper thread fit with mating components. o Cone Machining or repairing • Dimensional Verification: o Perform dimensional verification of the repaired thread and arbor to ensure compliance with original specifications. o Provide a dimensional inspection report. All the parameter must be within 50 Micron @360 Degree • Surface Treatment (if required): o Apply appropriate surface treatment to the repaired area to prevent corrosion and enhance durability. • Dismantling and Assembly: o The vendor is responsible for the safe and proper dismantling of the arbor from the slitter at workshop. o The vendor is responsible for the safe and proper assembly of the repaired arbor back into the slitter at the plant. o Ensure proper alignment and functionality of the slitter after assembly. • Testing : o Conduct functional testing of the repaired arbor to ensure proper operation. o Provide a test report for RUN (Axial and Radial), Parallelism and Radial Play Result should be with in 50 micron @360 Degree 3. Vendor Requirements: • The vendor must have experience in repairing similar arbors. • The vendor must possess the necessary equipment and expertise to perform the required repairs. • The vendor must comply with all applicable safety regulations. • The vendor must provide a warranty for the repair. 4. Location: • Dismantling ,Repair and assembly will be done at vendor Workshop. 5. Timeline: • The vendor shall provide a detailed timeline for the repair work.
