Tender For Arboriculture Works At Fazilka Under Ge Abohar (Job No Mwp/Swc-03/2023-24); 1 Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundations, shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, for taking out old pipe/cable and laying new pipe/cable etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soft including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 2 Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. 3 Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 4 Material and labour for hard core of broken stone or boulders of gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge. 5 Material and labour for PCC ( 1:4:8),type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 6 Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base of flooring complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 7 Material and labour for brick work with well burnt clay, sub class B bricks (old size), straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed. 8 Material and labour for Glazed ceramic coloured wall tiles 7 to 8 mm thick square or rectangular area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, as in vertical surface set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile, tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer (rendering) in cement mortar (1:4) and finish the surface rough to receive the tile complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 9 Material and labour for Non Skid ceramic coloured tiles7 to 8 mm thick square or rectangular area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm as in floor, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile, tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer (screed bed) in cement mortar (1:4) and finish the surface rough to receive the tile complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 10 Supply and fixing precast RCC (1:1.5:3) type A1 lawn bench and back support of size 1.5x0.60m of suitable for three person seating capacity, supporting precast RCC type A-1 for back and base with including assemble the precast member with suitable nut bolts and placing and anchoring with hold fast 350mm-16mm dia MS bar on concrete base (size 1.2x0.60m for each support) with 100mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 over 150mm thick sub base (1:4:8) type D2 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 11 Supply and fixing of pre-fabricated decorative sandstone/marble fountain of height not less than 1.80 metres and base diameter ranging from 0.45 to 0.50 metres, comprising three-tier lotus-shaped carved bowls complete all as shown in skecth (as per Appendix A to PSS-II). The fountain shall be made from high-quality natural sandstone/marble, uniformly finished, free from cracks or structural defects. Each tier shall be elegantly carved in lotus petal form, as per the approved design and colour shade. The work includes provision of a circular base/support structure (ghera) around the fountain, crafted from the same or matching stone material, with approximate diameter as per site requirement and as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. All materials and workmanship shall conform to the approved sample. The item includes all labour, tools, and incidental civil works required for proper fixing, leveling, and anchoring at site, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note : Excavation, earth work, PCC for foundation, sub base, brick work, vertical and floor tile inside the fountain and water connection/arrangement upto base of fountain shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ. 12 Supply, laying, jointing and testing of steel water tubing 25 mm boreISI marked medium grade galvanised including tube fittings Viz Tees, Socket bends elbows, union nipple etc screwed and socketed joint laid in trenches/uner road, along wall, ceiling or under floors etc complete all as specified and as directed.(Note :- Excavation and Earth work if required shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule of Earth work) 13 Supply and fixing Gun-metal, globe or gate valves ISI marked 25mm bore, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends foriron pipe orfor unions and fixed complete all as specified and as directed. 14 Supply and laying or fixing or laid in trenches / ducts / through pipes / in floors / under roads / under hard standing /along poles and testing, Cross linked Polyethylene (XLPE) LT Cable, XLPE Insulated, PVC inner sheathed, bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured cable (heavy duty) 1100 volt gradewith stranded aluminium conductor having cross sectional area 6 Sqmm2 core conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I)-1988 with upto date amendments, complete allas specified and as directed.Note :- (i) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, brick protection, boring/cutting of road and pipe shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of this Schedule.) 15 Material and labour for Sand cushioning, with dry and clean tibba sand (for under ground cable) 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm after laying and punned to 18 cm after laying of cablecomplete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose (ii) Approved sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. 16 Supplying and laying Factory made un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover ISI marked, class LV, type I, flat, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm complete all as specified and as directed. 17 Supply, install, testing and commissioning of Openwell outdoor type Submersible pump ideal for fountain for water circulation with lifting capacity upto 3 mtr, oil free, copper wounded, SS body, Cap 0.5 HP, Single phase, Voltage range 160 - 240 Volts, 50 Hz, with all necessary acessories requiredfor fixing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Warranty certificate should be submitted by contractor as per manufacturers warranty. 18 Supply and fixing single door DB (made out of CRCA sheet not less than 1.2mm thick) SPN, 2 Way 240V, conforming to IS-13032, DB shall be semi glosy finished with epoxy polyster based powder paint sprayed and backed at high temperature between powder paint process to ensure smooth finish and protection against corrosion atmosphere. The DB shall be single door type with hinged door with locking arrangement, including 01 No MCB DP 16 Amp C curve, 10 KA capacity and including making incoming and outgoing connection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. 19 Material and labour for fabricated and fixing for fountain circular shape 9 meter dia made out of medium grade GI pipe 20mm dia including drilling/threading and fixing the fountain nozzles 27 Nos with equally distributed including fixing arrangement and making inlet connection complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 20 Supply and fixing LED fountain light fitting 9/10Watt, complete with Standard LED lighting fixture, die cast aluminium housing, tempered glass of 8mm thickness with protection class of IP-68, including connection and waterproof jointing etc, as required, complete fitting with all accessories and fixing arrangements complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 21 Material and labour for digging holes of 60cm dia and 60cm depth in any type of soil and refilling the same with the earth mixed with manure or sludge in the ratio of 2:1 by volume (2 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction by 20% : 1 part of stacked volume of manure after reduction by 8%) flooding with water filling with earth if necessary and finally fine dressing, levelling etc including removal of srplus earth if any and declared unserviceable earth to a distance not exceeding 100 m and depositing where directed by spreading and levelling at a level not exceeding 1 metre above the starting point including anti-termite treatment by digging pits 30 cm deep and 4 cm dia, 3 to 4 holes around the tree using chemical emulsion at the rate of 1.5 liter per hole in two time or more application to get the trees free from termite infection chemicals used Chlorpyriphos 20% EC in the ratio of 1% concentration including supplying in suitable size of poly bag, stacking and planting of following trees/plant complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (a) Cost for the excavation, earthworks, manure (well decomposed cow dung/meegni manure), sludge, anti-termite treatment, pesticide, etc. shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate nothing extra shall be paid on this account. Note: (a) Cost for the excavation, earthworks, manure (well decomposed cow dung/meegni manure), sludge, anti-termite treatment, pesticide, etc. shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (b) Excavated earth if not found suitable for growth of grass and good earth for mixing if required as per direction of Engineer-in-charge same (supplying of good earth from outside MD land) shall also deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate nothing extra shall be paid on this account.(c) All finished areas shall slope to drain. Where no grades are shown, the areas shall have a smooth a contnual grade between existing or fixed controls (such as walK curbs , catch basins, elevations at steps or buildings) and levels shown on plans, roll scarify, rake and level as necessary to obtain true, even grassing surfaces. All finished grades shall meet approval of the Project Manager before grassing is done. 31 Material and labour for Complete maintenance of plants, hedge shrubbery, Grass, etc provided under BOQ items by weeding, hosing, watering, saucer making, once in 15 days (every month in alternate day planningas approved by Engineer-in-charge) forplant/ hedge, insect and pest management (as and when required),as directed by Engineer-in-Charge planting the new plants in place of dead plants of same species and height turning without any extra cost to the department complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-charge.(Note(i) T & P for watering, Manure & pesticide required for maintenance of plant under this item shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and cost of the same shall be deemed to included in the rate quoted against this item (ii) Contractor shall be responsible for all necessary arrangements for collection and conveyance of water from MES water supply points/source located upto any distance from the site for watering of Plants, Hedge, Shrubbery and Grass. Necessary water tanker with tractor, water browser, PVC pipes, etc required for watering purpose shall be contractor’s responsibility and quoted rates of this item shall deemed to include this provision)
