Tender For Surface Maintenance Of Switchyards” SURFACE MAINT. OF MSDS-2 SWITCH YARD COM The job includes: 1Removal vegetation from Yard graveled area: (Approximate area7500 sq mtr): removal of grass and other wild growth by hand from root in the graveled area of the switchyard to keep the graveled area free from vegetation. This is a continuous activity to be carried out regularly to ensure that the graveled area is free of vegetation all the time. 2Removal of wild grass and vegetation from non- graveled (uncovered) area inside the switchyard area boundary ( Approximte area 5800 sq mtr) Cutting grass, bush, small plants and all other wild vegetation inside the yard boundary by hand/ mach inch from the bottom); collection and disposal of cut vegetation in a suitable location outside switchyard as directed by executing officer.- Frequency # once in a month 3 De-dusting and cleaning floor and rooms inside Old Control Building, New Control Room, Mulsyfire Building, Maintenance building, and Workshop: a.First floor control room, office rooms , rest rooms & corridor # every alternate day b.Ground floor switchgear rooms, workshop, store rooms, maintenance rooms, pump house, cable basement # once in a weeks c.Ventilation room, transformer room and battery rooms- once in a month 4De-staining, cleaning and sanitation of toilets in Control building and Maintenance Building - Every alternate day 5Roof cleaning and cleaning of rain water down comers : a.Control building, # twice a year 6De-silting and cleaning of surface rain water drains- twice a year 7Sweeping/ de-dusting of roads inside switchyard- Once in 15 days 8Removal un-used spares, redundant/ failed equipment, components, scrap from yard area and depositing at a suitable place identified by the executing officer- once in a month. Crane for handling heavy equipment and truck for disposal of muck/ debris generated in the cleaning process shall provided by the department. All other tools/ tackles , consumables, cleaning agents etc. shall be arranged by the party.
