| 1 | Repairing of Induced Draft (ID) Fan of 110 TPH Boiler and replacement of damaged parts of ID Fan as per below work scope.The broad work scope of repairing of ID Fan and replacement of its damaged parts shall include, but is not limited to, the followings:1. Work Location: All repair and fabrication activities as mentioned below shall be performed at the vendor’s workshop. To & fro transportation of the ID Fan from Plant to vendor’s workshop will be arranged by HBL2. Preliminary Inspection and Assessment : To carry out detailed inspection of the ID Fan to assess the extent of damage, identify the damaged plates, worn-out parts, and areas requiring repair or replacement.3. Dismantling and Removal: To dismantle the necessary components of the ID Fan for access to the damaged plates. Cutting & removal of old damaged parts, back plates retaining cone, boss & shaft.4. Surface Preparation and Cleaning: To clean the entire ID Fan assembly, including the internal surfaces, casing, and impeller. Remove rust, debris, or contaminants from all working surfaces using appropriate methods.5. Supply, fabrication & replacement of Plates: a. Supply, fabrication & replacement of new Back Plates of 12 mm thick & OD 2590 mm matching the specifications as per original as per approved drawings. b. Supply & replacement of front shroud plate of 6mm thick c. Removal of damaged cone from boss plate. d. Fixing of new cone on boss with 6 mm thick new plate. e. Repairing of damaged front plate by straightening & welding. Repairing of damaged fins & hard facing.f. Plates required to be of IS 2062, Grade -A, MOC : Mild Steelg. Supply of any additional fasteners, supports, or fittings required for successful fabrication & installation.6. Installation and Alignment : Reassemble the ID Fan with all repaired and replaced parts. To check and tighten all bolts, fasteners, and couplings. To maintain proper centering & trueness of Fan OD with Shaft. Balancing of Fan and checking of Trueness of shaft on machine. To carry out a final inspection before dispatch. Vendor is required to submit complete report with all details of materials supplied and works carried out. |
