Tender For Special Repairs To Roads At Kohima And Kalinga Lines Stn Samba; 1 Scarifying or picking up gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm and removing the same to a distance n.exc 50m and stacking, completeall as specified 2 Material and Labour for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) Water Bound Macadam (WBM) with coarse aggregate (granite, trap or Basalt) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller required complete all as specified and directed. 3 Preparing the surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10.00 Sqm on unsurfaced wet mix macadam and laying bituminous premixed asphaltic dense concrete 40 mm thick (consolidated thickness) with paving bitumen (Bitumen VG-30) any penetration rolled and compected to required camber and gradient using binder content 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in HOT MIX PLANT and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 12 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: Contractor shall quote his rates by considering binder content @5.5% of total mix by weight. However in case of any variation in weight of binder as per actual design mix, the same shall be paid by the contractor. 4 Preparing the existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-10 @ 5 Kg per 10.00 Sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) with paving bitumen (Bitumen VG-30) any penetration rolled and compected to required camber and gradient using binder content 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in HOT MIX PLANT and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 12 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified and directed. However in case of any variation in weight of binder as per actual design mix, the same shall be paid by the contractor. 5 M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of roadand marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed. 6 Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) un-reinforced including removal of debris outside the MoD land, complete all as specified. 7 Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3(1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed. 8 Supply and fixing of yellow or black readymade rumbles speed breaker/bump with two highly reflective reflectors moulded in PMMA materials are welded /fitted with ABS plate through ultrasonic welding process, size of speed bump, length 500mm, width 340 to 350mm x height 45-50mm, fixed with epoxy adhesive sealing compound and suitable for fixing with 4 steel zinc plated 12x120 mm nails as per manufacturers instruction and all as specified and directed. 9 Supply and fixing in repair solar cat stud having 3 LEDs of colours red/yellow to a side (total 6 Nos) housed in a tough pressure die casted aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 120mm x 130mm of height 20mm with built in stem nail 20mmx50mm long for fixing with epoxy, LEDs, solar cells, battery & light sensor well protected in side under tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet roof, system workable for 2-3 days (nights) after full charge in 8-10 hours, high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed. 10 Supply and fixing in repair road safety convex mirror made up of polycarbonate reflective with hood for road turning, intersection, curves, T junction, etc unbreakable & strong, mounted on and body made of ABS/fibre/plastic of size 100cm dia fixed over & including 80mm bore MS pipe of 2.4 metre length duly powder coated fixed with adjustable clamp, pole fixed in plain cement conrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block of size 450x450x450mm including necessary excavation & earthwork, complete all as specified and directed.Note: i) Mild steel base plate of size 250mmx250mmx3mm thick shall be welded at bottom of pole.ii) All steel & iron surface other than powder coated shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer. 11 Surface excavation in any type of soil,n.exc 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out complete all as specified & directed. 12 Material and Labour for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6, nominal mix, type C2, (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base, surface finished finished even & rough, complete all as specified. 13 Material and labour for sand filling as in 50mm thick cushion to precast concrete interlocking paver block including laying, spreading, watering, ramming and consolidating, complete all as specified. 14 Material and Labour for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block rubber moulded glossy finish any shape, any colour and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness M-35 Grade jointed with grey cement and pigment, complete all as specified. 15 Material and Labour for PCC 1:2:4, type B-0, (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in kerb stone/coping plinth course (interlocking paver) and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary form work and finishing, complete all as specified and directed.
