Operation & Maintenance Of Different Iron Elimination Plant (I.E.P) At Kishorepur W/S (Capacity-60 Cum/Hr), Gopinathpur W/S (Capacity-45 Cum/Hr), Kulgachi W/S (Capacity-22.5 Cum/Hr), Elangi Zone -Ii W/S (Capacity-40 Cum/Hr) Under Tehatta Sub-Division Unde, tehatta-West Bengal

Operation & maintenance of different Iron Elimination Plant (I.E.P) at Kishorepur W/S (Capacity-60 CuM/Hr), Gopinathpur W/S (Capacity-45 CuM/Hr), Kulgachi W/S (Capacity-22.5 CuM/Hr), Elangi Zone -II W/S (Capacity-40 CuM/Hr) under Tehatta Sub-Division Under Nadia Division, P.H. Engg. Dte.( Period for 6 months = 183 Days).- 1 Opening & closing of all the different diasluice valvesondifferent places alongthe alignment of the Rising main and distribution main within Head Works site daily as and when required for regulating the Supply of water and distributing water all over the command area smoothlyincluding changing and restoration of gland packing of sluice valve if required including opening the cap/plug of wash out point or opening the sluice valvesincluding de- jointing flange jointsincluding repairing works and cleaning the pipeline or changing of gate, spindle or liner etc. of sluice valves all complete, restoration works to be done including earth work in the excavation bailing out of water, re filling the excavated earth, taking out of RCC slab cover and refixing true to position etc. including back wash on daily basis all complete as per the specification and direction of EIC(4 nos x 183 days = 732.00 days) 2 a) Contractor have to issue Identity Card to the valve operator. 3 b) Contractor have to product proper payment voucher in every month of daily worker to the EIC through concerned Assistant Engineer. 4 c) Daily rate to each labour will have to be paid by the agency not less than Rs.465/= (Rupees four hundred sixty five) only per day and bonus amounting @ 8.33% per day of daily worker)Labour rate = 654.86 +18% GST + 1% Cess=780.46x365= 284867.90/year. 5 d) payment of each month have to be paid within 07th of following month. 6 e) noncompliance of payment terms by the Agency will attract action towards payment of Valve Operators in case of exigencies by EIC directly as a principal employer as per availability of fund and no payment will be made against this item to the Agency. This may lead to termination of tender firth with and the agency may be barred from participation in tending process for 3(three) years. 7 Supervision charges for electrical installation by licensed Electrician as per IE Rules, 1956 read with latest amendments overhead expenditure(for 1 month = 7283.10 + 18% GST + 1% Cess = 8680.00) 8 During the period of Operation & Maintenance, all necessary manpower technical skilled or unskilled, all accessories (civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumental) oil, lubricants and other consumable materials for Blower & Compressor etc. which are required for normal operation shall be provided by the at his own cost, PHE Department will bear only the cost electricity. Any petty repairing, breakdown of defect shall be promptly rectified or replaced by contractor and cost of oil, lubricant or consumable materials for repairs etc. that during the period shall be borne by the contractor fails to rectify or replace the defects in reasonable time, the same will be done by employing other agency and the relevant expenditure will be realized from the payments and S.D. Money. Responsible technical representative of the contractor must visit the site at regular intervals and also on call during the period and inform to the EIC.(7470/1.12/1.01)=6603.61(for 1 year = 6603.61 + 18% GST + 1% Cess = 7870.18) 9 During the period of Operation & Maintenance, all necessary manpower technical skilled or unskilled, all accessories related to all kind of valves of pipeline and vessels which are required for normal operation shall be the contractor at his own cost, maintenance of pipeline related to IEP within head works site. Any petty repairing or defect shall be promptly rectified or replaced by contractor during the idle period shall be borne by the contractor. If the contractor fails to rectify or replace the defects in reasonable time, the same will be done by employing other agency and the relevant expenditure will be realized from the payments and S.D. money. Responsible technical representative of the contractor must visit the site at regular intervals and also on call during the period and inform to the EIC.(9605.00/1.12/1.01)=8490.98(for 1 year = 8490.98 + 18% GST + 1% Cess = 10119.55) 10 Chemical & Bacteriological testing of Raw Water & Treated water sample including cast of collection after each unit carrying to designated PHE/other laboratories and submission of report to the EIC at regular interval (4 Times in a year, quarterly basis) by the contractor at his cost during the O& M period.PWD S/P Schedule item 23 @ Rs. 1231 + 18% GST + 1% Cess = 1467.11 x 4 times = 5868.42 11 Additional amount if required , in case of enhancement of rate if any of valve operator / pump operator etc. as per G.O circulated time to time by the department within this period as per direction of EIC . (Against Items No. 1 including 18% GST & 1% Cess)
