Design, Casting, Machining, Finishing, Installation And Testing Of Diffuser Part Of Bowl Assembly Of Vt Pump Unit-1 Of Li/Dws Takanwari Old.- 1 Mechanical transportation, loading, unloading and handling of various items such as motor etc. using appropriate means of transport as under: Mini truck like Tata mobile, Bolero Camper or similar withwith 20 km lead 2 Complete dismantling of VT pump by way of:Disconnecting all leads from the motor and marking the terminals, uncoupling of motor from the pump, dismounting of motor with stool. Disassembling, dismantling and segregation of various pump parts such as discharge and column pipes, shafts and couplings, bowl, suction bell, impeller, stuffing box, fasteners, etc.(4 column pipes) Single stage pumps with single column pipe > 300mm upto 600mm ND 3 Casting, machining, finishing, painting and providing of diffuser part of bowl assembly of Vertical turbine Pump entirely as per sample.The job specifications are listed below: The part shall be casted in Cast Iron. A concentric diffuser part with inlet diameter of460 mm and outlet diameter 410 mm withequally spaced guide vanes of specified height with following detailed specifications is to be fabricated.Overall length of diffuser part including falnges= 500 mm Thickness of flanges= 25 mm No of bolt holes= As per column pipe /bell mouth partfor seamless integration Pitch Circle diameter of bolt holes =As per column pipe /bell mouth part Thickness ofpipe in diffuser part= 8 mm No of vanes= 7 -8Vane height = As per sample Vane curvature = As per sample The vanes shall have a hub at center of the diffuser as per sample for holding and guiding the impeller shaft.The diameter of hub opening shall be such that it can hold gunmetal bushing. The hub shall have GM bushing with cutless nitrile rubber.Thesuface of diffusershall be coated with two coats of primer and one coat of epoxy paint (inside & otside)for corrosion resistance 4 Repairs to damaged SS shaft by way of rebuilding of shaft using high quality SS electrodes (Ador/ Advani/ ESAB makes) and then turning the shaft on lathe machine to remove the excess material deposited and restore the original dimensions and profile of the shaft.Shaft of more than 50mm diameter at two damaged spot on shaft length 5 Providing and fitting of carbon steel Fasteners of assorted sizes 6 Complete assembling of all VT pump parts after cleaning, coupling and alignment with motor, connecting of motor leads and testing on full load. Single stage pumps with single column pipe > 300mm upto 600mm ND (4 column pipes)
