| 1 | Earth work in excavation of foundation by mechanical/manual means in all kinds of soil including disintegrated rock of all kinds including sheet laterite and soft rock, sand stone hard conglomerate rubble stone having all size not requiredblasting, soling roads, path, hard core macadam surface (water/ tar/ bitumin or lime bound) lime or cement concrete, masonary with cement or lime morter below ground level, soft conglomerate where stone may be detached from the matrix with pickaxe and generally any materials which require the close application of pickaxe scarifying to loosen any soil mentioned above by, manual or mechanical means with all leads, lifts and delifts including shoring, shuttering, proping bullah, pilling, including cost of dewatering drainage arrangement and slushremoval if required & ramming the foundation and removing stumps and roots of trees including stacking the excavated materials away from the work site including back filling the sides of foundation trenches with useable earth in layers not exceeding 150mm thick including ramming manually or mechanically fully compacted as per the drawings, designs and specifications, including cost of mobilization, demobilisations, supply or all equipments, materials, labour ,tools required for the work, supervision charges, all taxes etc. with all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Measurment and payment will be made on theoretical design and level section) |
| 2 | Collecting , supplying and spreading of coarse clean sand of approved specification with all cost , carriage, royalty and all other charges in filter drain on bed & slope of canal / foundation of structures to proper line & level using removable sheet metal separators up to design height watering & ramming to proper compaction including hire charges of machinaries , site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation , costruction of coffer dam ,approach road , diversion road with all leads lifts,delifts , T&P etc. complete as directed by the Engineer - in -Charge. |
| 3 | Cement Concrete(PCC) M 15using 40mm & down graded size hard granite crusher broken stone aggregates from approved quarry free from weargered skin surface dust & any other deleterious materials of approved grading including supply of clean sharp sand of approved quality in canal structure as per approved design., drawings and specifications with all leads lift and delifts, including cost of carriage, royalty, screening and washing etc. of all materials, dewatering mixing & vibrating by mechanical means including supply of all tools and plants labour with cost, carriage of water, curing and construction & removal of Cofferdam and gangway if required& supervision charges including mobilisation & demobilisation with all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 4 | Providing weep holes in abutment and wing walls/return wall with 100mm dia AC pipe extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20Htowards drawing forceas per approved design, drawing and specifications including metal spall backing in rear complete including centering & shuttering with cost, carriage, royalty, taxes of all materials, T & P, labour & supervision charges with all leads, lifts and delifts etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 5 | Form work for concrete in canal structure with F2 finish using steel shutter plates of approved specification for surface not prominently or permanently exposed to public views, such as galleries,adits,bridges,retaining walls open spill ways including cost, conveyance, T & P labour and taxes of all materials with all leads,lifts & delifts & dismantling & finishing after 21 days including; mobilisation, demobilisations with incidental charges to complete the items of work as per drawing, design & specification & direction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 6 | Excavation of any approved type of soil in approved borrow area by mechanical means loading into and transportation by mechanical means and unloading the soil within lead of 3 km…………etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 7 | Watering eathwork up to OMC condition and compaction by vibrating roller and dozer in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm to 95% dry density including hire and running charges of all the machineries complete as per direction of Enginer-in-charge (measurement tobe taken on the finished compacted section of the fill under OMC condition). |
| 8 | Fine dressing and turfing the canal embankment, slopes with approved quality of copacted dub grass including collection and supplying the same from approved site including loading, unloading, conveyance charge, royality and all other taxes, labour cess with all leads, lifts & delifts and specification including cost of mobilisation, demobilisation, supplying all machineries, equipments, materias. And labour required for the work supervision charges, labour cess including cost of watering and making arrangements till survival of grass to its full growth with all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge |
