| 3 | h) Lifting/ shifting to the place from where removed or to any location as directed and re-installing the voltage stabilizer including connecting incoming/ outgoing/ neutral and earthing connections etc. all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. j) The inspection of voltage stabilizer shall involve:-i) Checking of all clamps, nuts, bolts including core bolts & cover fixing bolts.Ii) Checking all brazings, joints, tap heads and connection joints.iii) Checking all jumpers, terminations/ connections inside the voltage stabilizer.iv) Inspection of tap changer and servo motor for smooth operation, checking the moving and fixed contacts for contact wear and connection to winding.k) Conducting the tests on core and windings as per IS like ratio, magnetic imbalance, short circuit etc. in presence of Engr-in-Charge and test results shall be signed both by the contractor and Engineer -in-Charge and kept on record. |

During this the system shall be cleaned and general performance will be checked including inspection of all spare parts such as iGBT, Drive cards, relay cards, AC capcitors, inverter cooling fan, ceramic fuses and including replacing the defective spares if any complete, re-assembling, calibration of UPS complete and testing & commissioning complete all as specified and as directed.(b) DC back up source will be maintained by applying white petrolium jelly, checking/ servicing of batteries etc as applicable.(c) Apart from the periodic preventive maintenance visits, all break down calls on the systems covered under contract shall be attended. |

(f) Major Spares such as Charger card, Power card, Driver card, AC/DC capacitors, IGBT, feed back/ isolation transformer, replacement of Batteries required will be measured & paid separately under relevant Schedule. All other spares required for rectifier & inverter section such as other connecting cards, Input fuses, SCR, Inverter cooling fan etc for keeping the UPS in operational state are deemed to be included in the quoted rate.(g) In addition to the above the contractor shall attend and rectify all types of defects arised during the contract period, to keep the UPS system in operational condition.(h) Each UPS will be measured as one Job and any breakdown will be measured seperately. |

| 192 | Scope of work:(i) Filters: Check for physical status of filters, cleaning the both process and reactivation air filters by racking out filters from dehumidifiers and clean both the filters with compressed air or wash with warm soap solution and refix both the filters in their location. If the filters are damaged replace the filters of OEM recommended make.(ii) Desiccant Rotor: Check the desiccant rotor for smooth operation, no sign of discoloration, pits, cracks due to dirt, dust or other foreign material. The desiccant rotor should be removed for cleaning from its position safely as per OEM instaructions. Cleaning the rotor by dry vaccum and dusting brush with attachment with soft bristle brush and vaccum both the surfaces of rotor or by applying moisture free compressed air of pressure rating less than 2 Kg/sqcm on one side at lease 250mm away from rotor surface and vaccum on other side, refix the rotor in its original position. The cleaning of desiccant rotor is upto full satisfaction of Engineer in charge and if the rotor replacement is inevetable due to poor performance of rotor the same should be replaced with new desiccant rotor of OEMmake complete all as directed.(iii) Seals: Check the seals for any wear and tear and air leakge, the same should be replaced with high performing silicone seals complete all as directed.(iv) Reactivation air heater: Check the heater element complete all as directed.(v) Fan Motors: Check for any abnormal sound from the motors and clean both the process and reactive motors by removing from their original postion, remove the impeller and clean the fan impeller throughly and refix the same in original location.(vi) Bed drive unit: Disconnect the bed drive motor supply check for any wear and tear of bed drive timing belt and replace the same if damaged and care should be taken for to avoid revese rotation of motor while refixing.(vii) Electric circuit: Tighten all connections by applying proper torque . |

Considering the sensitive nature of installation the contractor shall always be in a position to make alternate standby arrangement in case of break down.
