| 1 | Daily operation and minormaintenance of Sewage treatment Plant (STP) at Heavy Water Board Facilities Talcher, Colony permises as per attached technical specification including the following major activities: i) Cleaning of inlet chamber & screen chamber, grit removal from grit chamber, equalisation tank, pre - aeration tank & aeration tank, UASBR, clarifier, chlorine contact tank, intermediate sump, PSF, ACF, sludge sump & sludge drying beds etc. as and when required. ii) Online chlorinationto treated waterby addingsuitable dosage of chlorine to have a residual concentration of 0.2 mg/l.iii) Operation of equipments as and when required, their routine check up and control of flows,levels etc.iv) Regular cleaning of filters of air blowers.v) Removal of dry cake from sludge drying beds once in every quarter.vi) Minor routine maintenance of equipments like oiling, greasing, gland tightening,coupling replacement, gasket replacement etc. at equipments installed at STP unit for smooth operation of plant.vii) Weekly once water sample collection at outlet of STP and handover to lab of HWBF, Talcher plant premises and maintaning of effluent parameters of discharging sewage water (as prescribed by OSPCB) will be the responsibility of the contractor.viii) All tools, tackles, materials, Equipments, machinery, required for operation and routine maintenance of the STP unit at HWP Talcher Colony is to be provided by the Contractor.ix) In rainy season additional pumping arrangement for lifting of seawage water if required to be the scope of contractor.x) Maintaining day to day log sheet & log records round the clockshift. |
| 2 | Daily operation and minor maintenance of drinking water supply system in HWBF talcher housing colonyforat least 16 hours per day comprising of two times pumping including coordination with MCL for smooth water intake, pump house operations and water supply to various loops, checking of proper filling of individual overhead tanks, running maintenance of pump house & water supply system. Minor routine maintenance of equipments like oiling, greasing, gland tightening, gasket replacement etc. of equipments installed at pump house unit will be scope of contractor. Maintaining of log sheet of water level in tank, maintain data of pump running time, current, voltage etc at each shift. If any problem observed during running of the system they have to inform engineer in- charge immediately. |
| 3 | Cleaning and desiltingof EqualizationTank, thorough brushing of side walls and floor of tank, flushing out the tank with fresh water, disposing of silt to a lead of 100 mtrs. including taking all safety measures during work etc., All tools, tackles, material, manpower and machine required for doing the said job is in contractor scope and all complete as directed by the Engineer in charge. |
| 4 | Supply and installation of Gate valve ofdifferent sizes having MOC cast Iron required at pump house for smooth operation of plant as per our technical specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. (Note: For example 4\" dia valve will execute 4 quantity) |
| 5 | Supply and installation of NRV/Foot valve/ball valve of different sizes having MOC HDPE/PVC required at STP and pump house for smooth operation of plant as per our technical specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. (Note: For example 2\" dia valve will execute 2 quantity) |
| 6 | Daily supervision, smooth co-ordination of STP & Pump house operation and maintenance jobs as schedule above including but not limited to job planning / allocation, quality and progress checks / reporting as per our technical specification and the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 7 | Survey of drinking water supply line from MCL to HWBF, Talcher colony for identifing the any water losses/loop holes/water tapping in between and ensuring the continuous, smooth and healthy water supply at our end from MCL including operation of isolating valves for minimising the water losses as per our technical specification and the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 8 | Regeneration of the existing PSF (Pressure sand filter) of capacity 3 cum,having shell diameter 1.5 m and height of shell 1.6 m, MOC - Mild Steel, including removal and safe disposal of used sand,grits and gravels media as per applicable environmental norms, cleaning of filter sheet and internal fitting,supply and refilling of fresh graded sand,grits and gravel media as per standard specifications, inspection and minor repairs(if any),re-commisioning,testing for flowrate and filteration efficiency and application of protective coating/painting as required,including labour,material,took & tackles,tranportation and complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 9 | Regeneration of the existing ACF(Activated Carbon Filter) of capacity 3 cum,having shell diameter 1.5 m and height of shell 1.6 m, MOC - Mild Steel, including removal and safe disposal of exhausted activated carbon media as per applicable environmental norms, cleaning of filter sheet and internal fitting,supply and refilling of fresh coal based granular activated carbon of appropriate grade and particle size 4 mm to 5 mm as per standard specifications, inspection and minor repairs(if any),re-commisioning,testing for flowrate and filteration efficiency and application of protective coating/painting as required,including labour,material,tools & tackles,transportation etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
