Tender For Revamping of Qila Zafargarh in Distt. Jind-- 1 Uprooting rank vegetation and weeds by digging the area to a depth of 60 cm, removing all weeds and other growth with roots by forking including disposal of all rubbish with all leads and lifts. 2 Cleareance of debris from inside the heritage building by excavion upto depth 1.5mt to 2.0 mtr carefully without damaging the buried archaeological parts of the building and collect all the intact parts at proper place for reuse at the time of restoration work. 3 Providing and laying lime concrete with graded brick bats and 50% lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 Slaked lime : 1 Surkhi : 1 Coarse sand) rammed and finished with gur and belgiri treatment excluding cost of centring and shuttering.(Thickness 100 mm) 4 Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven storey height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffoldings for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.NOTE:- To be used for maintenance work judicially necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done 5 Hiring of water tanker (4500 ltrs) during excution of work. Since the water is salty at site and its not useful for lime mortar work. 6 Applying breathable, non-reactive, antifungal, and water repellant Silane/ Siloxane chemical as approved by Archaeological Survey of India/ Engineerin- charge, of approved brand and manufacture, diluted with solvent mineral Turpentine oil in the ratio of 1:12 (One part of approved chemical :12 Part of Turpentine oil), on the existing sand stone masonry/plastered wall surface with two or more coats to give uniform application of chemical on the surface, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-charge (The rate is inclusive of all materials and labours involved except scaffolding). 7 Provision for hiring (for 6 months) of special type of lime mortar mill (pan type) electrical/mechnical for thorough grinding and mixing of lime mortar and making lime putty as per site requirement including diesel and maintenance. 8 Curing of Lime concrete/Lime plaster surfacewith water mixed with milk of lime, pulp of belgiri and jaggery water (Gur/sheera) to achive the required hardness. 9 Construction of tanks of different sizes for slaking of lime and making lime putty as per archaelogical specification: Brick Work with common burnt clay F.P.S (non modular ) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in: Cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand)complete in all respect. 10 Providing, erecting, maintaining and removing temporary protective screens made out of specified fabric with all necessary fixing arrangement to ensure that it remains in position for the work duration as required by the Engineer-in-charge. Wooven PVC cloth 11 30-40mm lime plaster in two coats with 20mm base coat in lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 lime : 1 Surkhi :1 Coarse Sand) and top coat in lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 lime : 1 Surkhi :1 Fine Sand). 12 Reconsolidation of Brick Masonry: Traditional brick masonry in lakhori bricks in lime mortar (similar to existing propotion of mortar 1:1:1 , 1 lime : 1 surkhi : sand ) 13 Technical/scientific excavation to be done manually by way of carefully digging inside the heritage structure. It also includes to avoid any damage to the heritage structure or structure underneath, without causing any vibrations and jerks to the superstructure. It also includes duly constructing centring, struting and form work to avoid any untoward incident and getting out the excavated material manually head lead approx. 50 mtr away from site. 14 Consolidating the base area including cutting and filling, rammimg and watering complete to make the surface good for laying of concrete including appropriate slope required to safeguard the surface from rain water. 15 40 mm thick (Aevrage) fine dressed stone flooring over 20 mm (average) thick base of lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 lime: 1 surkhi:1coarse sand) with joints finished flush. 16 Providing and supplying as per preliminary project report for development of basic amenities in herirage sites and monumnets, stone benches, signage, dustbins, designed to complement the aesthetics of the heritage structure and the site. The furniture should be made from durable, heritage-appropriate materials as per site requirements. Stone benches/tableNote: The entire process must be executed under the strict supervision of an architect, archaeological engineer, or archaeologist to ensure compliance with heritage conservation norms and site sensitivity. 17 Providing and supplying as per preliminary project report for development of basic amenities in herirage sites and monumnets, stone benches, signage, dustbins, designed to complement the aesthetics of the heritage structure and the site. The furniture should be made from durable, heritage-appropriate materials as per site requirements. Informational Signage made with stoneNote: The entire process must be executed under the strict supervision of an architect, archaeological engineer, or archaeologist to ensure compliance with heritage conservation norms and site sensitivity. 18 Providing and supplying as per preliminary project report for development of basic amenities in herirage sites and monumnets, stone benches, signage, dustbins, designed to complement the aesthetics of the heritage structure and the site. The furniture should be made from durable, heritage-appropriate materials as per site requirements. Dustbins matching with site/built fabricNote: The entire process must be executed under the strict supervision of an architect, archaeological engineer, or archaeologist to ensure compliance with heritage conservation norms and site sensitivity. 19 Brick on edge flooring with bricks of class designation 7.5 on a bed of 12mm lime mortar, including filling the joints with same mortar, with common burnt clay non modular bricks: 1:1:1 (1 lime : 1 surkhi : 1 coarse sand) 20 Recessed Pointing with 1:1:1 ratio composite lime mortar (1 lime : 1 coarse sand : 1 surkhi) mixed wth colour pigment including racking out joints etc. and supply of all materialslabour TandP etc. required for proper completion of work. 21 Provisions for basic amenties at a suitable site that does not harm or obstruct the view of the heritage structure, as per preliminary project report for development of basic amenities in herirage sites and monumnets. It incldues an attendant room, washroom facilites, water point, ticket counter/ tourist information centre.Note: The work must be carried out very carefully to ensure that it does not harm the heritage site. The aesthetics should align with heritage norms and the site’s character, and all materials must be heritage-compatible and design as per the site requirement. The entire process must be executed under the strict supervision of architect/archaeological engineer/archaeologist.
