High NBLW tower as per approved drawing and design with the all its necessary components which include antenna fixtures , carrier and fastening, gantry cable feeder rack on resting and working platforms with hand rails, wave guide rack , wave guide rack support, ladders etc., climbing ladder, platform with railing and fixing with galvanized bolts, nuts and spring washers, necessary welding etc wherever required complete in all respects as per the directionsand satisfaction of the Engineer-in- charge. Note: Rate includes cost of all operations involved in hoisting and erection of tower i/c hire and labour charges of tools, plants and machineries, welding , drilling, cutting etc i/c necessary arrangement for safety belts, helmets to labours, insurance premium of labours etc. and nothing extra will be paid. The funnel shall be fixed with wire mesh. The manhole cover shall be pain ted and marked withthe resistance of earth The plate earth of placed in one corner of Tower leg and shall be inter connected with Ring earth by a copperstrip of 25 x 3 mm size required length complete as per drawing and requirement and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 19 | Providing and laying ring earthing with G.I. strips 50 X 3 mm to be buried in trench of curved1000 X 300 mm width around the tower 2 metres away from legs.The G.I. strip should be bending at all cornersall connections are to be made with G.I. nuts and bolts, each leg of tower shall be separately connected with G.I. strip of 50 X 3 mm from top of the tower stem to ground level and tied up with legs with same strip at an interval of 4.00 metres Both ends of G.I. flats shallbe brought to ground level and terminated in brick masonry chamber 300 x 300 x 300mm size with50class bricks in 1 cement :6 coarse sand on base conc rete 1 cement: 5 sand: 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm in 1 cement:: 3finesand with Hinged C.I. cover and frame (weight of Cover 4.5 kg/sq Mtr.)with proper locking arrangement. Lightening arrester should be connected to ring earthingwith the G.I.strip. The trench tobe refilled with good earth after providing sand, dust charcoal and salt at different layers include ing magger test etc. complete as per direction ofEngineer-in-Charge. |
