| 2 | The work includes the followings:-1. Procurement of structural of minimum 250 (FE410W) quality aconforming to IS 2062 or British Universal Beams, Columns and Plates – Grade 275JR/JO and S355JO to BS EN 10025 (as per availability) (minimum grade to be followed in this project)2. Cutting to required size, straightening / bending if required, edge preparation, cleaning, preheating, bolting/ welding of joints, (including sealing the joints of box sections with continuous welding and plugging any open ends & holes of box sections), finishing edges by grinding3. Fabrication of structural including semi built-up sections,compound sections made out of rolled sections and / or plates / bent plates in all types of structures in buildings, pipe racks, platforms , towers frameworks, floor beams, stairs, accessories to support equipments, piping, conveyor galleries, masts, silos, bunkers, hoppers, or any other structure as specified by client / tKIS India etc.4. Fabrication to be done in fabrication shop established by contractor or Bidder approved by B AND R/NALCO / tKIS India as per drawing includingtools, tackles, cutting, welding, consumables,shop assembly, including all tools,tackles, scaffolding all complete.5. Blast cleaning with compressed air and blasting gun conforming to Swedish Standard SA 2½.Including all tools and tackles, compressor, etc. 6. Providing and applying epoxy painting system on steel surfaces consisting ofone primer coat of Zinc dust/ Ethyl Silicate primer as per SSPC Paint 20 level 2 / 1 x 75 μm DFT (80% Zinc on dry film) %volume solid : min 65, Zinc should be min 1.4 kg / litre. The product to be supplied with ASTM D520 type II Zinc dust. One intermediate coat of Epoxy Polyamide intermediate coat with Lamellar MicaceousIron Oxide - min VS 80% / 1 x 120 μm DFT and 7. One final coat of inert Pigment / Acrylic Aliphatic PU paint with 80% gloss retention on exposure to 1000 hrs of QUV B 313 / 1 x 60 μm DFT; % volume solid : 58+/- 2, gloss of min. 80 units @60 o gloss head. 7. Loading , transportation, supply of all fabricatedstructural steel, to Project Site, NALCO Damanjodi.8. Vendor to perform touchup Painting of their supplied fabricated structure at Damanjodi location if any damageoccurred during transportation |
