Chequered Plate Trench Covers along with running M.S. Strips in the switchyard. The work includes lifitng of trenchcovers from cable trenches and hammering for streghtening and levelling for its alignment with side cover. The welding should be done for proper fixing of trench covers with angle iron frame and each tag shall be at least 8 cm in length for rigidiness of covers. After completion of repairing works, the surface of trench cover shall be cleaned by scrapping, rubbing, sand papering etc. and then applying one coat of best quality RED OXIDE primer on both sides. After proper interval of time, two coats of standard quality synthetic/brush on top side. The fixed running M.S. Strip of side 25x6mm along both sides of cable trenches, shall also be painted in two coats of Black colour before placing of trench cover in their original places as per following details:- 32 Painting and minor repairing of trench cover for X-X, B-B and C-C- type trenches of size 190x55 cm approx. 33 Painting and minor repairing of trench cover for H-H type trenches of size 100x35 cm approx. and G-G tyoe trenches 65x55 cm. approx. 34 Painting and minor repairing of earthing/Support angle of size 25x6/50x6 mm 35 Painting letters & number over cable trench cover or other places with the help of stencils including painting of base of 150mm dia of one coat primer and two coats of superior qualitysynthetic enamel paint, with size of letter to be 60mm x 10mm including cost of all materials, labour, T&P required for proper completion of the work. 36 Work of maintenance and up keeping of air conditioning System at 220 kV Substation Jewar.
