| 1 | Conducting Geo-hydralogical/Geo-physical ground water investigation survey at Naval HQ Delhi Cantt Area,through Government local bodies like central water commisssioner or any authorised surveyeror any state/central Ground Water Boards for location of borewells with four alternative locations of various yields.The report from the concerned department shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge. Based on the report, the contractor should give the proposal for appropriate location which shall be approved by the Garrison Engineer.Note :- All expenses involved for getting done the Geo-hydrological/Geo-physical ground water investigation survey through local body including inspection fees, fee for submission of application and other incidental charges if any, as required by the local bodies at various stages are to be included in the unit rate quoted by contractor. |
| 2 | Removal of existing submersible Pump from the non working bore including the removal of column pipe upto the depth of submersible Pump, Electrical cable etc and filling the bore hole with clay ball, Sand, soil as required for the complete sealing of the bore. The cement concrete platform of 0.6 Mtr x 0.6 Mtr x 1.0 Mtr shall be casted on the top of the filled bore.Note :- (i)The contractor may check the feasibility for the removal submersible pump & column pipe upto the depth of installedsubmersible pump. The quote rate should be inclusive of the same.(ii)The payment will be made only after successful execution of the complete item |
| 3 | M&L for Trial bore of 200 mm dia upto 200meter depth below ground level in any kind of soil strata including hard stone/boulder including electric logging, MS cap, MS flat iron clamps, reducing socket etc, all as specified and directed. |

| 5 | Reaming up to 525 mm for 60 RM from ground level including casing pipe of 200mm dia and thickness 8mm and pea gravel. |
| 6 | Reaming up to 525 mm from depth exceeding 60 metre to 200 meter including casing pipe of 200mm dia and thickness 8mm and pea gravel. |
| 7 | M&L for Developmentof tube well with compressed air and after with 25 % extra capacity pump by pumping muddy water. Note :-Development with compressed air by means of air compressor of suitable capacity not less than 1000 PSI and over pumping using suitable capacity pump until sand free water is obtained.The compressor/pumping set/ equipment for testing as required shall be arranged by the contractor.Vertical test of tube well housing up to reducer position plumb and alignment immediately after lowering the house in pipe and before commencement for gravel packing by tripped and plumb complete.Chemical & bacteriological testing of water sample from approved laboratory to ensure portability of water.No extra payment will be done on this account. |

| 9 | Yield testing of tube well by contineous run with suitable equipment all as per IS-2800 part-II of 1979 including complete testing of water suitable for drinding purpose as per IS-10500 of 1991 from testing Laboratory approved by GE and report shall be submitted to GE.The well shall be tested 24 hours continuous after development of the well to acertain the yield.The air compressure/higher capacity pump required for the development of the well by means of over pumping shall be arranged by the contractor at his own arrangement. |
