| 2 | Maintenance of grassy lawns, landscapes in residential & public Buildings, flower beds, hedges & plants including removing of fallen/ dry leaves and disposal of the same to the designated place, uprooting of weeds/ rank vegetation, watering, mowering, rolling, top dressing,maintenance of flowerbeds (seasonal /annual etc.) Trimming / cutting of hedges / flower plants / decorative foliage wherever required , uprooting the old & replanting the new seasonal plants etc. and application of FYM, good earth, seasonal plants, new saplings / plants, pesticides, fertilizers complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. FYM, good earth, pesticides, fertilizers etc. shall be supplied bythe contractor, and shall be paid in relevant item of Part-B. However preparation of new flower beds and arrangement of diesel lawn mowers, shall be in the scope of contractor. The item also includes the cleaning of dry leaves from the lawns, mentioned below :- Township Area / Factory Area. |

| 12 | Note : In case of deploy of less malies, the payment shall be reduced from the particular period of bill, as per clause no. 15 of Technical terms & conditions of NIT. In addition to the above, as explained under clause no. 6(e) of Technical Terms & conditions of NIT,it is also highlighted that for all lawns, falling under the plots of non residential areas, under item no. 1, all tools & plants alongwith 9 nos. Manual and one Power (Mini 20\" blade) lawn mowers shall be arranged by the contractor and nothing shall be supplied free of cost to the party. For watering purpose, contractor has to provide PVC Gardening pipe for each mali in above areas of required length 30m or more. Contractor should keep above facts in mind while quoting the rate for item no. 1. |
| 13 | Deploying of 12 nos. Malies (unskilled) daily (excluding weekly offs / Holidays) for maintenance of grassy lawns, landscapes around residential buildings of Sector - VII, flower beds, hedges & plants including removing of fallen/ dry leaves and disposal of the same to the designated place, uprooting of weeds/ rank vegetation, watering, mowering, rolling, top dressing,maintenance of flowerbeds (seasonal /annual etc.) Trimming / cutting of hedges / flower plants / decorative foliage wherever required , uprooting the old & replanting the new seasonal plants etc. and application of FYM, good earth, seasonal plants, new saplings / plants, pesticides, fertilizers complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. | 15 | Maintenance of neem plantation farm of neem plants by watering hoeing, weeding, providing manure / fertilizers, and cutting of wild growth with necessary tools & tackles. Contractor has to deploy one labour on daily, for round the month, which shall be treated as one operation. |
| 16 | Digging Holes in ordinary soil and refilling the same with the excavated earth mixed with mannure in the required ratio,flooding with water, dressing including removal of rubbish and surplus earth if any all leads and lifts.(Cost of Mannure or extra good earth if needed shall be paid seperatly) Holes upto60 cm dia, 60 cm deep. |
| 17 | Lawn mowering in plain areas not covered/ maintained under item no. 1 (inside & outside the Factory Area)as and when required, as per the instructions of the Engineer-in-charge. Contractor has to arrange his own diesel lawn mower and Hand Held brush cutters / Line Trimmer for the same. |
| 18 | Execution of jobs of unsusceptible measurements, which are not covered under the item no. 1 of SOQ and DSR, such as watering to new planted trees, for guarding the fencing of orchards, prohibiting entry ofwild animals in the orchards, erecting fallen trees guards, cutting sarkanda, excavating holes for new tree plantation, making new beds around ornamental/ fruit trees and other arrangements in NFL estate as per requirement, during the National Functions / Events etc. The rates shall include provision of all tools and tackles and contractor\"s profit. (Inside & outside Factory area). |
| 19 | Providing items pertaining to horticulture and gardening such as grass, loose grass, specialized tools & tackles and any other related horticulture items, which are not covered under any item of SOQ. For the purpise of payment %age above market rates of materials, tools and spares to be supported by cash reciept/vouchers may be quoted. |
| 20 | Clearing grass with Hand Held brush cutters / Line Trimmer, including cutting of alltype of wild vegetation, congress grass from ground level inside Factory & T/ship Area. Contractor shall arrange to cut the grass / wild growth with Hand Held brush cutters / Line Trimmer for the area as specified by engineer in charge. Cut grass shall be removed and clean the area by the contractor with in his quoted rate of this item. Contractor shall keep minimum of 04 no. Hand Held brush cutters / Line Trimmer petrol driven for clearing grass. Hand Held brush cutters / Line Trimmer with petrol and labour in the scope of contractor. Nothing extra shall be payable to the contractor. |
| 21 | Renovating lawns including weeding, cheeling the grass, forking the ground, top dressing with sludge or manure, mixing the same with forked soil, watering and maintaining the lawn for six months or more till the grass forms a thick lawn free from weeds and fit for mowing and disposal of rubbish as directed, including supplying good earth, if needed but excluding the cost of sludge or manure. (The manure/sludge shall be paid for separately). |
| 22 | Fiiling mixture of earth and sludge or manure in the desired proportion in trenches, flooding with water and levelling (cost of supplying good earth and sludge or manure shall be paid in relevant item). |
| 23 | Maintenance of road berms on both side at following locations inside factory area & T/Ship. This item includes cutting of grass/ vegetation/ wild growth etc., with brush cutter, complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge. However preparation of new trees beds and arrangement of machinery & petrol /diesel, shall be in the scope of the Contractor. The item also includes the cleaning of dry leaves from the area. NOTE: The contractor has to deploy two labours along-with two brush cutters on daily basis at each location, for round the month (excluding weekly offs / Holidays), which shall be treated as one operation. |
