Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land, including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile,levelling as per direction ofthe Engineer-in-charge within a lead of, NB : Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement/prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking. Note: The rate is inclusive for compensation for earth for land owned and arranged by the contractor add Rs. 25.00 per cum extra over rate of E/W for land owned /arranged by the Department . Royalty charges on earth @ Rs. 29.00 per cum & cesses charges @ Rs. 5.30 per cum (i.e., Rs. 15.00 per 100 cft.), as per Govt. notification , which will be paid on production of necessary documents in support of payment made towrds the royalties & Cesses.(B)Beyond 1.00 km and upto 2.00 km.

Earthwork in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil(including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 metre as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete.b) Upto depth not exceeding 1.5 M.

Earthwork in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth in layers not exceeding 150 mm including watering and ramming etc. Layer by layer complete.( Payment to be made on the basis of finished quantity of work)A) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.

Making filter with well graded 40 mm. down ballasts and laying uniformly behind weep holes, below pitching on bed, side slopes including supply and carriage of all materials to site including preparing bed with earthwork up to 30 cm. depth, where necessary and compacting with wooden malllet after laying to achieve designed section as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge (measurements will be on finished work /in stack after deducting necessary void).(b) 1st. class Brick Ballast.

Size with 10 mm. gap in between two blocks (maxm.permissible) over brick filter on river bed or side slope with 19 mm. down well graded stone chips of pakur variety with or without reinforcement including curing, shuttering, finishing the exposed surface including cost of supply and carriage of all materials including dressing, ramming, preparing the subgrade to proper level & slope complete but excluding cost of reinforcement & filter materials.a) Nominal mix. (1:1.5:3) with desired strength of M-20 grade. .

Ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm. nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes.i) pakur variety.

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m. using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor) (When the height of a particular floor is more than 4 m. the equivalent floor height shall be taken as 4 m. and extra for works beyond the initial 4 m. ht. shall be allowed under 12 (e) for every 4 m. or part thereof). (f) 25 mm to 30 mm shuttering without staging in foundation

Labour charges for collecting or taking out displaced cement concrete or brick blocks of all sizes from slope, bed or apron and relaying the same in canal bed or slopes including clearing, dressing, ramming and preparing bed with necessary earthwork complete within a lead of 200 metre and all lifts complete.
