| 1 | Removing the sand media very cautiously up to the top layer of the gravel from RB4:B13.G. filter bed including collecting ,lifting , carrying and lifting properly outside of R.Gfilter plant within 500 m(average) from the bed by head load and then removing the same from there by lorry at any place within 2.0 KM of IGWTP or nearest sand washing machine as per direction of EIC including loading & unloading the same head load within a lead of 30 m and complete in all respect as per direction of EIC. |
| 2 | Talking out very carefully of all the five different sizes of gravel , grits upto the Rapid Gravity Filter Bed invert i.e the below the laterals , so the under drainage system are not damaged, collecting & carrying the same by head load and dumping in the heaps at outside of RG filter Plant within a distance of 300 m and loading in the lorry for carrying the same in the nearest sand washing machine within a distance of 1.5 km from the loading point and unloading the same within 30 mtrs and complete in the respect as per direction of EIC. |
| 3 | Thoroughly washing all filter bed gravels, grits by water jetting after immersing in murices/hydrochloric acid solution for a time as per direction ofEIC and rewashing the same by jetting of water draw from sand washing machine or washing vat and do needful for screening by sheaving or reverse sheaving to differentiate all the different sizes of gravels as per direction of EIC and make stack of different sizes of gravels on the ground near R.G Filter plant by lorry and head load in size including loading & unloading as per direction of EIC and complete in all respect . After cleaning no dirt/mud coating should be found around the surface of the differentiate gravels. |
| 4 | packings of beds of R.G. Filter with differentiated gravels & grits carrying from a distance within 150 m average from the R.G Filter bed ery carefully i.e. rearranging the cleaned differentiated gravels in size wise layer including hand packing the gravels around laterals as per direction of EIC. So that total gravels stratum to be not less than 500 mm including leveling the top surface and complete in all respect as per direction of EIC. |
| 5 | Filling of the R.G Filter bed by new/old washed sand including loading into lorry front satck yard within 1 km inside IGWTP and unloading the same in the outside the R.G Filter Plant premises and carrying by head load upto 500 m(average) distance to unloading point including screening, levelling & dressing the top surface as per direction of EIC. So that depth of sand not to be less than 600 mm from the top of the gravels and complete in allrespect as per direction of EIC. |
| 6 | Replacement of broken cement asbestos perforated pipe by new one (i.e AC/HDPE/GI Pipes) including fitting and fixing the same by drillingof specified size orifice holes and plugging of the ends with necessary compressive rude ring and enriched cement mortar and seals (i.e. O ring) and complete in all respect as per direction of EIC (cost excluding AC/HDPE/GI pipe). |
| 7 | Cleaning & washing the under drainage system filter bed invert floor, walls and all individual laterals and orifice of A.C. Pipe and checking property with back wash water and complete in all respect as per direction ofEIC. |
| 8 | Cleaning the dirt/jungles etc & Washing of course sand/medium course sand through water jet type sand washing machine and stacking in beaps/stacks including catting & carrying the Sand from all work sites of RGSFB arca at IGWTP, to the identified Sand ashing Machine. After washing of sand the turbldity of the washed sand must be within 7000 PPM (Payment should be made on the basis of stack measurement of washed sand). |
| 9 | Supplying and placing of Course Sand as a filter media of Gravity Filter as per IS-8419, Part-I-1977 along with testing of the same from any recognised Universityincluding scraping off the old media complete in all respect as per direction of the EIC. |
| 10 | Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/ stagingwhere necessary (Ground floor).[Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface](a) With 1:4 cement mortar. (i) 20 mm thick plaster. |
