Urgent Mechanical Repair Works To Be Carried Out For V.T Pumping Equipments Installed(Unit No. 02) At Old Vt Station For Wss Doodhganga.- 1 Shifting of foot valve and shaft extracted from unit no. 02 of OLD VT Station of WSS Doodhganga to the workshop for carrying out the repairs at the workshop. The job includes loading and unloading of the 01 no. Foot valve and shaft in the load carrier along with other allied items. 2 Dismantling of the foot valve at the local workshop by way of opening the stuck bolts by way of using PB Blaster spray or by cutting, using skilled labour and then repairing the foot valve by way of welding using cast iron welding electrodes and then finishing the surfaces of the foot valve body and the 2 no. gates of the foot valves using hand grinder for proper alignment and fitting. The job includes providing and fitting of the synthetic rubber in the gates as per requirement. The job includes assembling back the foot valve by way of providing and fitting of 16 no. nuts and bolts and then testing the foot valves for leakage.The cost includes all costs of skilled labour, tools and tackles and allied conventional tools required for carrying out this job. 3 Fabrication and fitting of stainless-steel sleeve on the already extracted shaft from the 02nd no. pumping unit of Old vt station by way of welding. The job includes alignment of the shaft and finishing of the welded spots as per requirement. The Job also includes mounting of the 180 hp motor on the discharge head, fitment of rachet assembly and finally testing of pumping unit on full load. The cost includes all costs of skilled labour, tools and tackles and allied conventional tools required for carrying out this job. 4 Loading and shifting of foot valves and shaft from workshop to the WSS Doodhganga and then unloading the same at OLD VT Station. The job also includes fitting and testing of foot valve and the shaft after repairing. Moreover, the job includes providing of rubber washers where ever required. The cost includes all costs of skilled labour, tools and tackles and allied conventional tools required for carrying out this job.
