| 4 | M&L for preparing existing unsurfaced WBM/WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleanedsurfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.85 kg/sqm on surface of WMM IVVBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed . |
| 5 | M&L for premixed bituminous macadam laid using mechanical paver for any width of road, rolled & compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with binder content (paving VG - 30 grade bitumen) of min. 4% by weight of total mix all as specified & directed. Note: 4% binder content shall be for pricing purpose only.Any deviation in minus side shall be adjusted as specified inParticular specifications and no price adjustment shall be made for plus side variation. |
| 6 | M& L Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) &making good by applying tack coat of VG - 10 grade paving bitumen @ 5 Kg /10 sqm, putting pre mix bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with VG-10 grade paving bitumen binder @ 9.8 Kg/10 Sqm binding with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed maccadam, binder and chiping) with depth of pot holes exc 30 mm etc complete all as specifed and directed. |

| 8 | M&L forpremixedbituminous semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickeness laid using mechanical paver for any width of road with max 5.00% binder content, paving butimen VG-30 grade byweight oftotal mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all specified & directed.
