| 1 | Servicing of the following type of rolling shutters of different sizes maximum size upto 6m x 7m includingdismantling for over-hauling of individual parts for repairing and refixing after repairs i.e. top hood shaft cage, shaft case shaft brackets, springs, main curtain with lathe or mid bar type grills, wicket gate, side guides bottom tails, gear units, bearings, electric motors, starters and thoroughly cleaning all the components, adjusting the tensioning springs, if required overhauling or repairing shaft and gear units, re-conditioning end clips, re-aligning curtain ends, reconditioning dents if any, on the surface bottom rail and side guides, repairing the starter, inspecting, taking out and replacing the damaged or defective components (replacement of parts at extra rate is shown under item No.2 below), ensuring proper locking arrangements from both side and outside including all welding, drilling straightening, grinding, scaffolding, ladders, tools, tackles, with all consumables, such as lubricants, kerosene, grease etc. and shall hardware such as nuts, bolts, rivets, washers, keys, etc. making good any damages to civil works, cleaning, oiling, greasing and demonstrating proper functioning of the shutters after each service such as nuts, bolts, rivets, screws, washers, keys and necessary scaffolding etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge at site. Electrically operated type with lathe or grilled curtain, mechanical gear operated and pull & push type rolling shutters. (All types of Rolling shutters).Note : 1) Measurement will be done once only,for entire contract period. 2) The measurement of Rolling shutters will be as per structural openings, Hood etc. will not be measured separately. |

The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in - charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note: (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. (2) For all items under this work order which require scaffolding, the Scaffoldingwill be measuredand paid only once,irrespectiveof duration of scaffoldingfor the entire work and will not be seperately paid for each item. (3) Scaffolding shall be removed only after completion of all works. (4) The scaffolding once provided shall be removed after the entire work is neatly completed in all respects and payment shall be made after completion of all works and measurement will be taken only once.(5) Necessary aluminium/ M.S. ladder/staircase module shall be provided at the cost of the contractor, upto the full height of scaffolding at required locations around the building to enable department Engineer/Supervisor to closely supervise the repair work at heights.The cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (6)Contractor has to make arrangement at his own expenses for temporary sealing of windows/openings with plywood, to avoid breaking of windows panes, and covering outdoor ac units during the progress of work (7) Wherever scaffolding has to be erected over existing lawns or flowerbeds, then all such locations shall be completely covered with tarpaulins before erecting scaffolding. (8) Safety nets and nylon screens shall be provided for full height of scaffolding to prevent falling of debris and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (9) Scaffolding shall be erected as per the provisions of IS 3696 (10) All safety precautions and measures shall be taken as per BARC Construction safety Manual. |

| 31 | Carrying out Civil Engineering works like surveying & leveling, checking of formwork fabrication, reinforcement fabrication as per drawings, witnessing sample retrieval & testing for various construction materials, ensuring concrete ingredient ratio at batching plant / Site and pouring of appropriate grade of concrete in plain and reinforced concrete works,ensuring proper mixing of approved ingredients & waterproofing admixtures for mortars and brickwork, plaster, flooring & waterproofing works, and other civil & PH works including supervision of construction safety as per BARC specifications & relevant documentation, compiling, binding and preparation of tender documents & Agreements overall as directed by Engineer-in-Charge (EIC). Note : (1) Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Degree holder Civil Engineer with 2 (Two) years experience or Diploma holder with 5 (Five) yearexperience (Licentiate in Civil/Construction Engineering / Technology) conducted by Board of Technical Examinations / University / Autonomous Govt. / Govt. recognized Polytechnic/ Institute. (2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the EIC during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the deployed Engineer shall have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the EIC. No additional payment will be made on this account. For any shortfall in attending duty less than minimum 26 working days, deductions shall be made on Pro-rata basis.(3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per monthas per requirement at site for the period mentioned in NIT. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one engineer exclusively for the particular job. (5) Engineer should be engaged after scrutiny by EIC of CED, BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed Engineer will report to BARC Engineer/ EIC. (6) In case the Contractor replaces the Engineer, the minimum notice period before such replacement of engineer is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1623/- per day of shortfall in notice period shall be levied on the contractor.(7) The Engineer can be deployed at any site of BARC within Mumbai & Raigad District as per the duty allocated by the Engineer-in Charge |
| 32 | Carrying out Data Entry operations and assistingdepartmental Officer / Engineers, preparation of monthly and quarterly statements, dispatching documents/file movement and maintaining registers and documents, checking/preparation of agreements etc. as instructed by Engineer- In-charge.Note: 1.Qualification: Each job shall be carried out by one data entry operator having minimum HSC pass (12th Standard) with complete knowedge of computer (like MS office, etc. ) and should also be well conversant in English and Hindi language. Person should have valid Police Verification Certificate. (2) Deployment : The contractor shall deploy one Data entry operator for each job as Single Day work for 6 working days per week for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period.(3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per day as directed by Engineer-in -Charge. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Data entry operator exclusively for the particular job. (5) The Data entry operator should be engaged after scrutiny by EIC of CED, BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed Data entry operator will report to BARC Engineer/ EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before change of Data entry operator is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1,276/- per day of shortfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor.
