Construction of approach road from NH to Institute campus and providing furnitures, partition, cupboard and shutter, curtain and paver block for the Dean’s quarters, additional PVC tanks, motors for the sumps, GVT tiles, Galavanum sheet roofing arrangements for Residential blocks of New Government Medical College and Hospital for 150 MBBS Students at Udhagamandalam in Nilgiris District.; 1 Supplying and Filling in Foundation and Basement with 10-12mm gauge hard broken granite stone jellyin layers of not more than 15 cm thick well watered, rammed and consolidated etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 2 CEMENT CONCRETE 1:5:10 [One Cement, Five Crushed Stone Sand and Ten hard broken stone jelly] using 40 mm gauge hard broken granite stone jelly for FOUNDATION including dewatering wherever necessary and laid in layers of not more than 15 cm thick well rammed, consolidated and curing etc. completecomplying with standard specification. 3 Supplying and erecting steel Shuttering including necessary supports for plane surfaces for Reinforced Cement Concrete works such as COLUMN FOOTINGS, COLUMN PEDESTALS, PLINTH BEAMS, GRADE BEAMS, STAIRCASE STEPS, etc., which require only nominal strutting using mild steel sheets of size 90cm x 60cm and 10 BG stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25mm x 25mm x 3 mm for boarding, laid over silver oakjoists of size 10cm x 6.5cm spaced at about 75cm centre to centre or at suitable intervals etc. complete in all floors complying with standard specifcation. [Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid]. 4 Providing and laying in position, standardised concrete Mix M-20 Grade in accordance with IS:456-2000, using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 325 kg/Cu.m and maximum water cement ratio of 0.55, including admixture (plasticiser / super plasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5 cu.m.) 7730 kg. of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 cu.m.) 5156 kg. of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cum) 7670 kg. of cs sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing, etc. and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/ roof slabs wherever necessary without claiming extra, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS standards. (No separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of materials). 5 For Foundation & Basement 6 Supplying, fabricating and placing in position MILD STEEL / Ribbed Tor Steel grills for all RCC works as per design given including cost of steel and G.I. binding wire in all floors etc. complete complying with standard specification.[Contractor has to make his own arrangements for the supply of steel and binding wire] 7 Supplying and laying of Rubber moulded Hydraulic pressed paver block of 83mm thick over a base layer of sand filling including cost of materials laying and Labour charges etc., complete complying with standard specifications. 8 Dadooing the wallswith best quality of Colour glazed tiles of size 1200 x 600 x 8mm of best approved quality in cement mortar 1:2 (One cement and two crushed stone sand) 10mm thick and pointed with colour cement at 0.40 Kg / Sqm neatly to full depth of tiles in all floors as directed and complying with standard specification. The colour and brand of the tiles should be got approved before execution from the departmental officers. 9 Paving the floor with best quality Florado gray tiles of size 600 x 600 x 8mm of approved colour, shade and quality laid in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three Crushed stone sand) 20mm thick in all floors and the top pointed wit the white cement mixed with same colour pigments etc., complete complying wityh standard specification.(The make and brand of the tiles should be Johnson / Kajaria / somany / Nitco / RAK which has to be got approved by the Executive Engineer before before use on works) 10 Painting the wall with Texture Finish Paint including labour charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 11 Supplying and fixing in position of best quality and approved variety of PVC Cylindrical Water Tanks of 1000 Litres capacity conforming to I.S.I. Specifications with necessary inlets and outlets and overflow, cleaning pipe arrangements and labour charges for fixing in position etc., and properly fixed in the floor top as directed by the departmental officers. 12 Manufacturing, supplying and fixing Precast Reinforced Cement Concrete slabs of 50mm thickness in RCC 1:2:4 (one cement, two sand and four aggregates), using 10-12mm HBGS jelly excluding cost of reinforcement steel in position but including cost of moulding charges, casting of slab, finishing, curing and fixing in position in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed 13 Supplying and fixing UPVC (Un - Plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) fixed partition with size of outer frame 60mm x 58mm and reinforcement with GI / 1mm 125GSM and 100% corrosion free, the profiles are multi chambered section with wall thickness of 2mm. The EPDM rubber (black colour) covered with over all the edges of frame. The Corners and joints should be welded and cleaned. ACP panel board should be fixed between the frames and it should not allow leakage of water. The frame should fixed to the wall with 100% packing with this screws and silicon packing all round the frames and should be got approved from the Executive Engineer before use on work. 14 Providing UPVC (Un-Plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) Door: Providing and fixing casement doors fabricated from un-plasticized polyvinyl chloride (uPVC) sections. Profiles: The profiles should be three chamber system which provides high insulation properties with outer frame 60mm x 55mm with an outer wall thickness of 2.4mm. The window unit should be designed with all corner joints mitred and fusion welded. Windows should be steel reinforced with 25 x 24 x 25mm steel reinforcement with a thickness of 1mm to have dimensional stability. The sash should be of 60 x 102mm. The mullion should be of 60 x 74mm. The profiles should have co-extruded seals.Hardware: All the hardware like friction stays, handles should be screwed with self tapping screws. The handles, locks should be designed so that they cannot be released from outside. Glazing: The window system should be glazed with 5mm plain float glass / 6mm bison lam. 15 Manufacturing, Supplying and Fixing of Stainless Steel Hand rails using 50mm dia 304L Grade Stainless Steel pipe of 1.60mm thick will be provided with tubular supports .The supports will be grouted into the wall and provided with 93.00mm thick Stainless Steel Rectangular base plate of 304 Grade with elevation toughened of thickness 10 mm above glasscavringfor eleavation workthe rate Inclusive of materials, transport,fixing and polishing etc,the design should be approved by the departmental engineer, Complete Complying with standard specification 16 Finishing the top of roof with one course of roof elevation tiles of size 9 x 6of approved quality laid in cement mortar 1:2 (One cement and two sand) 12mm thick mixed with water proofing compound conforming to I.S at 2% by weight of cement used and the joints pointed with same mortar mixed with re oxide to the full depth of tiles, etc., complete complying with standard specification. and as directed by the departmental officers. 17 Supplying of Wooden Cot of size 6x 63 to a height of 8, head panel of 15 height customized for Dean Quarters. The rate include the cost of all materials, fabrication, trasportation and other incidental charges, including providing in position as directed by the departmental officers. 18 Supplying of rubber wood Sofa with 1 nos ofthree seater, 2 nos of one seater. The frames are made of well seasoned rubber wood and covered with fabric customized for Dean Quarters. The rate include the cost of all materials, fabrication, trasportation and other incidental charges, including providing in position as directed by the departmental officers. 19 Supplying of rubber wood teapoy of size 0.90 x0.60mwith glass top 8mm thick cooling glass used for the glass top. The rate include the cost of all materials, fabrication, trasportation and other incidental charges, including providing in position as directed by the departmental officers. 20 Supplying of rubber wood dining table (4 x3 x 26) with two number of pedestal and Oval shaped plain fininshed top.6nos of single chair. The rate include the cost of all materials, fabrication, trasportation and other incidental charges, including providing in position as directed by the departmental officers. 21 Supplying of mattress for the cot of size 6x63 and thickness of the mattress shall not be less than 4 with two numbers of pillow 20 x 26. customized for Dean Quarters The rate include the cost of all materials, fabrication, trasportation and other incidental charges, including providing in position as directed by the departmental officers. 22 Supply and fixing of Valancing type curtain for doors and windows including cost of pelmet,rods,superior variety,curtain cloths for screens necessary scalping works,stiching harges,including cost of materials such as fringes,Jolly,Velcro,tassels, side ornamental knobs for tassels,conveyance and fixing in position with all necessaries etc.., completed complying with standard specification 23 Providing Cup-board Shutter with frame using termite / water proof plywood of 19mm thick over which laminated sheet of 0.8mm thick fixed inside the shutter and 1mm thick fixed in the outside of the shutter using fevicol along with necessary furniture fittings, such as, hydralic hinges, tower bolt, handles, multi purpose locks etc., as directed by the Departmental Officers. The design pattern, water proof plywood, laminate sheet and other materials should be got approved from the Executive Engineer befoe use on work. 24 Supplying and fixing colour galvalume sheet roof of 0.47mm thick and steel tubular box section of 100x50x3mm of 1meter interval including priming coat fixing in position with all necessary accessories complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 25 Supplying and fixing 5HP stage delivery submersible motor excluding panel board ISI make for 6 dia bore well with pump, necessary accessories such as bolt gun metal jet assembly with 1 number pressure gauge metal complete comprising with the following additional accessories and submersible cable. - The motor shall be of ISI approved variety and shall be got approved by Executive Engineer before erection-Accessories:-.a. 3 Phase star delta starter of 32 AMP of approved quality and make with ISI marks - 1 No.b. 3 Phase 32 AMP main switch of approved quality and make with ISI marks - 1 No.c.
