| 2 | Mobilisation and Demobilisation of suitable Barge / Platform made up of Polyvinyl Barrels, Wooden Planks and Steel Frames with standard quality of desired dimensions. The cost includes all materials and men required for the work and as directed by the departmental officers |
| 3 | Setting up of a drilling equipment in water over the barge / Platform at each of the drill locations including setting up of all staging, platform, etc. complete. The Polyvinyl Barrels should be light weight and should not be ductile. The wooden planks used for setting up of barge should be well seasoned and polished to act resistance against water. The steel frames used should be of light weight and should not under go any deformation during the process. The barge should provided with set back distance for the movement of men and materials and should also made to withstand live and dead load. The barge should be provided with all the safety measures. Any crisis crosser back and forth movement of the rig can take place. However, this is payable once for each drill hole only including marking the drill hole location by actual survey, as per site condition and as directed by the departmental officers |
| 4 | Drilling 100 mm dia vertical bore holes in water spread area using Rotary type Calyx Drilling equipment with necessary drilling bit in all type of soil, other than boulders, soft rock, and hard rock to the required depth as directed by the departmental officers. The drilling equipment and all other connected accessoriesrequired for drilling including transporting of drilling equipment and accessories to the site and shifting from one bore hole point to another bore hole, supply of water required and incidental charges etc., including erecting and removing required Size M.S casing pipe up to the level of rock, collection of soil samples from the bore holes as per IS 1892 - 2021 and submission of bore hole log as directed by the departmental officers. The rate is inclusive of conveyance of soil samples taken out from borehole operation from site to the laboratory specified and closing of borehole as directed by the departmental officers. -In water locations with casing seated and anchored in river bed with a projection of 1.0m above water level. |

| 12 | Carrying out standard Penetration test (SPT) using split spoon sampler in bore holes at various depth as per IS 2131-1981 in all classes of soils and solid cone at the tip instead of split spoon sampler for other than soil and as directed by the departmental officers. |
| 13 | Collection of Undisturbed soil samples(UDS) as per IS 2132:1986 using thin walled sampler. Collection, packing and sealing in containers with wax to preserve moisture content and transport to laboratory and as directed by the departmental officers. |
| 14 | Supplying Steel Boxes and arranging rock core samples in the order and numbering and submitting to the concerned Engineer - in - Charge as per IS 4078 - 1980 and as directed by the departmental officers. |
| 15 | Conducting water permeability test at overburden portion in the drilled hole as per IS 5529 (part-I) 2013 including cost of labour and machinery complying with technical specification and as directed by the departmental officers. |
