Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with Tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of 53mm to 22.4 mm (Fifty three millimetre to twenty two point four millimetre) sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN (Eighty- hundred Kn) in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading-III as per Technical Specification Clause 405 By Manual/ Mechanical means including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 Kg/ sqm (Zero point seven zero to one point zero kilogram per square metre) using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502 including hauling/ carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts of materials and other incidentals.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-I) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 Kg. per sqm (Zero point two five to zero point three zero kilogram per square metre) on the prepared grannular bituminous surface treated with primer cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 including hauling/carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts of materials and other incidentals.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm (Twenty millimetre) thickness composed of 13.2 mm (Thirteen point two millimetre) to 5.6 mm (Five point six millimetre) aggregates using penetration grade bitumen to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN (Eighty-hundred Kn) static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type B as per technical specification Clause 508 by Mechanical Means Bitumen (S-90)/ VG-10 grade including hauling/carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts of materials and other incidentals.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Bitumen S-90/ VG-10 grade Type B as per Technical Specification clause 510 By mechanical means including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
