| 1 | Supply, Installation, Commissioning and testing of ECO friendly silent diesel engine driven water cooled generating set of capacity 58.5 KVA, 415 volts, AC supply, 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire, 0.8 PF at NTP, speed 1500 RPM mounted on common base plate with flexible coupling and meeting the requirements of IS-4722/BIS, IS 13364 specification with CPCB IV+ approved accoustic enclosures fabricated out of CRCA sheet 2mm thick and structural sheet metal base frame. Sound proofing of enclosure is done with high quality foam conforming to IS 8183 of 25mm thickness and density 30 Kg/ mª complete including PCC foundation is all respect complete as per manufacturer recommendations with following specifications:-(a) DIESEL ENGINE: Water cooled diesel engine of adequate capacity at 1500 RPM generally in accordance with latest BIS/ IS specification provided with blower fan, 12 volts self starting including maintenance free battery of suitable capacity, charging dynamo/ alternator, air cleaner, diesel/ oil filters complete in all respect. The engine shall be capable of taking 10% overload for one hour for every 12 hours of running conforming to the environment (protection act 1986) (29 of 1986) and as amended vide Gazette of India Notifications Part-Il Section-III sub Section (I) dated 12 Jul 2004.(b) ENGINE INSTRUCTIONS PANEL: All relevant information shall be displayed on a complete panel for easy monitoring of lubricant, oil pressure, battery charging, ammeter, hours meter, starting switch etc.(c) FUEL TANK: In built fuel tank of adequate capacity with stop cock, drain plug and necessary fuel pipe complete as per manufacturer recommendations.(d) ALTERNATOR: 58.5 KVA at NTP, 3 phase, 50 Hz, 415 volts, AC supply, 0.8 PF at 1500 RPM, this shall be self excited screen protected and drip proof type bruchless, conforming to relevant IS/ BIS code as per latest manufacturing schedule. |
| 2 | (e) CONTROL PANEL: The standard control panel shall be built in acoustic enclosures with the following accessories complete wired with suitable size of copper cables:-(i) MCCB of suitable rating with overload and short circuit protection.(ii) Digital ammeter(iii) Digital voltmeter(iv) One set of indicating LED lamps RYB and fuse(v) Frequency meter, RPM meter, Hour meter, fuel level indicator(vi) KWH meter electronic tamper proof digital for 3 phase 415 volts AC unbalanced load of suitable capacity(vii) Water temperature oil pressure gauge(viii) AMF: The panel is based on microprocessor type shall be with AM controller suitable to start the engine on main failure after 10-15 second delay and to switch off engine only after 60-90 seconds after the main supply restored. The AMF controller shall have under/ over voltage, overload protection, coolant temperature cut off, fuel control upto 10% tank capacity. The panel shall also have one change over switch and switch gears of suitable capacity to bypass main supply when the AMF control becomes defective.Note: The gen set must be affixed with label meeting the following requirements (The label shall be durable and legible):-(i) Name and address of the engine manufacturer(ii) Statement that this engine conforms to the environment protection(iii) Type and approval certificate number(iv) Date of manufacture of gen set |
| 3 | M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mmx 600mm and 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connecting to the Gl earth Strip 32mm x 6mm size by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and protected by provision of Gl medium grade pipe of 40 mm bore including provision of 40mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM (wt no lesss than 4kg/sqm) and frame of angle iron 40mmx40mmx6mm with 6mm dia MS bar handle made to shape, GI light grade 20mm Dia pipe for watering of suitable length placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt and charcol filling, with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to distance not exceeding 50m complete all as per plate no 03 of SSR 2009 Part-l and connecting to earth test point all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge and including testing on completion. NOTES:- (i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B, 80 mm thick, reinforcement with 8 mm TOR steel @ 100 c/c in lieu of Cl cover and the rate includes in the unit rate of item. (ii) Earth electrode shall be protected upto test point using necessary arrangement with suitable size GI pipe and the rate includes in the unit rate of item.(iii) Earth pit chamber and RCC cover shall be painted with red paint over a primer coat and the rate includes in the unit rate of item. |
| 4 | Dismantaling all the connection from old DG set of any capacity and shifting the DG set to MES Store yard complete all as specified and directed.Note:- All the T & P to be provided by the contractor should be included in quoted rate. |
| 5 | Supply, laying & testing XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade with aluminium conductor of size 95 sqmm x 3.5 core, fixed to walls/ poles or passing through pipes with and including, cable gland lugs/ thimbles/ ferrules including taking down of existing old unserviceable XLPE cable complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 6 | Supply and fixing of 11 KV VCB switchboard floor mounting, sheet clad, free standing and dust & vermin proof, compartmentalized type VCB switchboard. The sheet steel 2mm thickness must be as per tested design of manufacturer.The switchboard shall be suitable for 11 KV, 3 ph, 3W, 50 Hz. AC system and complete with VCB, air insulated Aluminium Bus bar rated for 630A for 11kV switchboard and suitable for short circuit capacity of 18.4 KA for 1 sec switchgear should be as per latest IEC 62271 (62271-1, 62271-100, 62271-200). All the compartments of the panel should be segregated from each other by means of earthed metallic sheet steel. The shutters which should be provided for safety purpose must be earthed metallic sheet steel only. The shutter mechanism should be coupled with the movement of the withdrawabletruck. Expect the bushbar compartment, all the compartments of each cubicle should be independent from similar compartment of the adjucent panels. The bushbar compartment should run from end to end without any inter-panel barriers so that in the event of internal arc inside the bush bar compartment, the arc will travel along the length of the switchboard. | 7 | Metal clad switchgear complete with vacuum circuit breaker having rupturing capacity upto 350 MVA, rating upto 800Amp 26.3 KA Horizontal Draw out/ Horizontal Isolation VCB with following accesories complete all as specified and directed.:- (i) 11KV 26.3 KA 800 Amp breaker(ii) Spring Charging Motor 24 DC(iii) Tripping Coil-24 VDC(iv) Aux. Contracts: 6 No + 6 NC(v) Limit Switch for test position with mechanical ON/OFF indication and Mechanical ON/OFF Emergency Push Button(vi) Inbuilt Antidumping Feature(vii) Bushbar including 02 Nos Earthing.(viii) Aluminium bus bar to be provided 800 Amp as per existing VCB panel to join with new panel in all respect with insulators complete- 01 Job(ix) CT-60-30 A/5.5A, Core 1:5 P20, 15VA, core 2:0.5, 1 5 VA single phase fix type, complete all as specified and directed.(x) IDMT Relay comprising of 50/51, OL/SC, 51N elements with Rs 485 port, power supply-30VDC programming, load setting & Time setting as per feeding grid sub station, complete all as specified and directed.Note:- (i) Each VCB shall be completed with control fuses/MCBs. Panel illumination Lamp, Plug & socket, I/R switch, TNC switch, Thermostate, Panel Space heater assembly. Emergency Push button, trip circuit supervision relay, necessary indication Lamp, Bushbar, wiring and Fabrication.(ii) Earthing 02 Nos of Each VCB, Strip earthing with (32 x 6 mm strip) as per Electric plate No 3 of SSR part- 1 is included in the quoted rates. |
