| 1 | Epoxy Polyurethane Coating (EPU)Supplying and applying ESD Ployurethane Flooring System as per the following Specification:-(a) Surface preparation: preparing the existing surface of floor by using proper scarification eqpt and cleaning by wire brushing & blow etc, to remove all dirt, dust, oil etc to expose clean sound base concrete. Cost shall include any imperfections in the concrete shall be treated with suitable repair system as per manufacturer specification.Note:-(i) Material /Chemicalsrequired for repairing crack, potholes and damaged areas shall be paid separately at supply only rates. (ii) Treatment of construction and expansion joints including filling as per manufacturer\"s specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge, which shall be paid separately.(b) Primer: Supply and application of moisture insenstive solvent free epoxy bonding primer over the prepared surface (Floor/coving) in a thin continuous film and work the Primer into the surface using a stiff brush or roller. Apply second priming coat on identified light colored dry patches over first coat. (c) Base Coat/Scratch Coat : Supply and application of 1mm thick base layer with cementitious Polyurethane of self smoothing self levelling epoxy underlay spread evenly to maintain the thickness using a serrated trowel followed by spike roller, rolled over the levelled underlay to remove any entrapped air all as per manufacturer instructions and as specified.Contd... |
| 2 | Item No.1 Continued...(d) Anti Static grid : Supply and fix copper earth strip of size 25mm wide and 80 micron thick, fixed over the floor area along the perimeter and internally with a grid size of min 3mx 3m and max 5m between strips. The Surface shall be treated with aqueous anti static epoxy system, conductive under coat spread as specified and as manufacturer\"s instructions. The conductivity of the under coat shall be 2 x10^3 ohms - 4x 10^3 ohms. The entire system to be connected to earth pit AND testing complete. (e) Epoxy Polyurethane Coating (EPU): Providing 3 mm thick epoxy polyurethene ESD flooring, having 28 days compressive strenght as per ASTM C 109 45MPa, Flexural strenght will be 12 MPa as per BS 6319-3, Tensile strength will be 4MPa as per BS 6319-7, having surface of earth resistance < 1 x 160 Ohms. The fire resistivity of the material has to be of class 2 as per BS 476-7. |
