Impact resistant Titanium casing with minimum 16 active electrodes with two reference or ground electrodes. 3. Latest generation internal component. 4. Ability to automatically measure the auditory nerve response and impedance intra-operatively. 5. Latest and multiple speech coding strategies with ability to store multiple settings with inbuilt dual microphone technology. 6. Should be compatible with current and all future technologies in speech processor and if company is no longer manufacturing the current speech processor it should be upgraded to higher model free of cost within the warranty period. 7. MRI compatible up to 1.5 T with option of removal of magnet/MRI compatible upto 3T with or without option of removal of magnet. 8. Option for BTE/ Body worn processor. 9. LED Indicator 10.FM Compatible 11.Should provide compatible rechargeable batteries. 12. Implant reliablitiy should be 99% and above from the time of launch of the product. Reliablity data should be in compliance with European consensus statement on cochlear implant failures and explanations. 13.Option to choose special electrode arrays for individual patient needs at no added cost.
