Preparation of existing surface by brushing with wire brushes to remove caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally cleaning the surface with compressor and applying paving bitumen 60/70 grade or emulsion @ 5kg/10sq.m., on the following type of surface.

(a) On WBM surfaces @ 10Kg / 10 sqm

(b)On black top surfaces @ 5Kg/10 sqm

Providing tack coat with paving bitumen 60/70 or emulsion @ 5 kg/ 10 sqm on bituminous macadam surfaces if SDBC not laid on same day.

Providing profile correction courses 50-70mm to cover pot holes on existing surface, depression on the existing surface and to provide proper camber on road with hot mix bituminous macadam/concrete with 3.5% binder content by weight, spreading with mechanical paver and compacting with mechanical / vibratory roller.

Providing premixed semi dense bituminous concrete with average 40mm consolidated thickness with 6.0% binder content by weight of total mix, laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to the required camber and gradient with mechanical/ vibratory roller complete. (Hydrated lime @ 2% by weight shall be used)

Providing premixed semi dense bituminous concrete with average 25mm consolidated thickness with 6% binder content by weight of total mix, laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to the required camber and gradient with mechanical/vibratory roller all complete. (Hydrated lime @ 2% by weight shall be used)

Liquid seal coat, applying evenly binder @9.8 kg per 10 Sq.mt. binding with 6.3 mm size stone chippings @0.09 cu.mt per 10 sq.mt and rolled to a uniform smooth surface.

Removal of dust / dirt received from cleaning of roads exc 250m but n.exc 1 km, deposited n.exc 1.50m height where directed.
