| 1 | General Notes:1) The Tentative/Suggested makes have been specified in the tender document based on requirements of BARC, desired performance, detailed study of the technical parameters, manufacturing process, quality assurance/control & testing. The list is merely for guidance purpose. However, the bidder(s) can prefer any other make(s) which is/are meeting technical specifications given under Section-V, this schedule of Quantities (Schedule \"B\") and shall conform to the technical Parameters/performance of the tentative/suggested makes and / or shall conform to the relevant BIS codes or other relevant codes. In case of non-approved makes(s), the bidders(s) shall suggest such equivalent/alternate make/brand, meeting above -mentioned technical parameters, during pre-bid stage and before submission of bid(s)2) Rates to be quoted by the bidders should be exclusive of GST for all the items but inclusive of all other taxes, duties, CESS, fee, royalty charges etc. levied under any statue for all the items. |
| 2 | 3) Only sieved river sand/crushed stone sand confirming to Zone-II from Godavari river or Varaha river orVamsadhara river or Sarada river or Nagavali river / Crushed stone sand shall be used as fine aggregate and Graded hard broken granite metalof 3 stage (VSI) material shall be used as coarse aggregate in relevant items. Specification for fine and coarse aggregate shall confirm to IS:383 (latest revision)4) In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements in design mix concrete, concrete admixtures (Carboxylate based superplasticizers) can be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for concrete items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, Design mix, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. 5) Thecontractor shall set up sufficient number of self loading mobile concrete mixers inside the project area for the production of concrete.6) Contractor may also be allowed to procure concrete from prior approved RMC plants on prior approval of the BARC subject to maintain required slump at site during pouring.To that extent suitable Mix Design should be carried out with required retention period. No extra payment will be made if concrete is brought from RMC plants outside the project area.7) Fly ash based Portland Pozzolona Cement (PPC) shall only be used for all cement consuming items. |
| 3 | 8) Manufacturer\"s Test certificate of cement which is procured fromdealer/company is to be submitted for all cement related works by the contractor.9) The Scope of works which are not included in any specific items but indicated in the document \"General Scope of all works\" shall be within the scope of overall contract works. The cost of work/item/material indicated in this document shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of all individual items. 10) The quoted rates shall include necessary royalties, seigneiorage charges,etc. and all other charges to supply all the required construction materials.11) The contractor shall submit all samples to the department for approval and no work shall commence before such samples are duly approved. |
| 4 | PCC and RCC Works Notes:1) Rates quoted for PCC & RCC items shall include cost of sieved river sand/ crushed stone sand as fine aggregate and graded hard broken granite metalof 3 stage (VSI) material as a coarse aggregate. 2) The mix shall be desiged to maintain the desired slump (as required at site/specified in IS code). In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements in design mix concrete, admixtures can be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for the items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. 3) Thecontractor shall set up fully automatic batching plant/sufficient number of Self loading mobile concrete mixers inside the project area for the manufacture of concrete.4) Contractor may also be allowed to procure concrete from prior approved RMC plants on prior approval of the BARC subject to maintain required slump at site during pouring.To that extent suitable Mix Design should be carried out with required retention period. | 5 | 5) The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixtures. 6) Test certificate of cement, procured fromdealer/company has to be submitted for all concrete works by the contractor.7) Rate quoted for RCC items shall include cost of relevant design mix and testings.8) This item is applicable for all PCC and RCC structural elements like footings, beams, columns, slabs, lintels, chajjas, walls etc., for all heights and leads. 9) Only steel scaffolding, staging, supporting system to the formwork and steel frame work will have to be used for all RCC structural elements. 10) All surfaces adjacent to EPs, etc., shall be in true line and level & irregularities, if any, shall be rounded by mechanical grinding, chiseling, finishing the same using epoxy silica sand mortar at no extra payment. 11) Form finish F3 shall be provided to all exposed surfaces of the concrete. |
| 6 | Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade M-30 using 10 mm maximum size aggregates and crushed sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved quality (plasticiser or super plasticiser) if required, including weigh batching, mechanical mixing, transporting, placing, vibrating, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete at all heights but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer In Charge. |
| 7 | STRUCTURAL STEEL WORKS Notes:1) Structural steel required for the work shall not be supplied by the Department.2) Structural steel confirming to IS 2062 shall be supplied from their own plants rolled from virgin materials to be procured directly or from their authorised dealers and test cerificate to be produced.3) The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel, Test certificate from approved manufacturers and also third party testing from approved laboratories with out any extra cost.4) Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall notbe measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rates.5)Welding Electrodes of specified suitable grade only shall be used.6) Holes to be drilled only by Drilling machines and gas cutting of holes are not permitted. |

The sheet should be supplied in single length upto 12 meter or as directed by Engineer In Charge.
