| 1 | Note: 1) Tenderers must visit site before submission of tender. 2) The work should be done satisfying all safety aspects and insurance coverage of all workers to be involved in this job, Contractor should quote rates accordingly.3) Debris generated from this work shall be disposed off by the contractor outside Bidhannagar campus of VECC by mechanical / manual transport within Bidhan Nagar Municipality area without any extra cost to the department. Contractor should quote rates accordingly. 4) Rate shall be inclusive of all costs, taxes & duties including GST. No extra payment will be made over the quoted rate.5) Contractor has to be very careful so that no nuisance is created or users are not disturbed during execution of the work. Labours engaged should be well behaved / good mannered. 6) All work to be carried out inside RTCcorridor, where special permission to be taken from Health Physics unit before commencement of work (for all workers/ supervisors etc.) 7) MTC to be provided for all incoming materials to the Department.8) Temporary barricade/ cover-up of machine/ equipment by plastic sheet to be done by the vendor without any cost to the Department.9) Temporary barricade (if required) made out with ply, other structural item etc. to be installed inside RTC corridor as per requirement of Department. Cost involve in this temporary barricade should considered in the relevant item of Schedule of Quantity. Contractor should quote rates accordingly. |
| 2 | Providing labour tools tackles for careful removal (by unscrewing from existing wooden frame work)of existingfalse ceiling made out of ply wood/ wood /Gypsum /asbestos cement board including necessary scaffolding, providing extra support to avoid sudden collaps of entire structure , stacking the dismantled serviceablematerial up to a lead of 200 m and lift of 25 m anddisposal of unserviceable materials outside VECC premises etc all complete as per specification and as directed. |
| 3 | Providing materials, labour , tools tackles for careful partial replacement of old damaged wooden framework for false ceiling, making suitable joints with existing framework by local well seasoned Sal wood section matching with existing (approximate cross section2”X3”), proper hanging arrangement@ 1 m C/C in both direction from RCC ceiling, necessary nails, screws & consumables, maintaining proper line and level, including necessary safe scaffolding, application ofnecessarypaintsetc. complete as per the specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : 1)Hanging arrangement and paint will be paid in separate items. |
| 4 | Providing, material, labour, tools, tackles etc. for erection & fabrication of false ceiling hanging arrangement with structural steel MS Flat (25mmx5mm) cleaning, scrapping mechanically/manually to remove dust, rust if any, cutting materials to size, at all level & location, making holes, providing Anchor Fastener J-Hook(8mm Dia 150mm long) by drilling into R.C Surface,SS Self tapping screw 1.5 inch long, grinding, other fastenings & consumables, including necessary safe scaffoldingetc. allcomplete as per specification, drawing and as directed by EIC. |

| 7 | Supply and fixing of 25 mm thick nitrile rubber insulation in form of hollow pipe section / sheet suitable for 50mm NB CPVC confirming to IS 15778: 2007 drain piperline; having thermal conductivity ≤ 0.035 W/m K at 0⁰C confirming standard EN 12667/ ISO 8497; fire propagation as per class ‘O’ confirming standard BS 476 Part 6:1989. should be properly fixed by using suitable adhesive and insulation tape making an elegant look finish, including necessary safe scaffolding etc. all complete. |

| 9 | Painting two coats of Synthetic Enamel Paint of 1st quality & approved make, shade/colour on old painted/new surfaces, of wooden surface, steel windows, steel cupboards, pipes etc. over a coat of approve wood / metal primer, including thorough surface preparation filling up of dents, cracks etc. all complete at any height and level including scaffolding etc. all complete as per specification and as directed. by the Engineer in charge. |
| 10 | Painting with two or more coats of Acrylic emulsion paint on internal surface at all level & location with approved shade and make including roller application over a coat of compatible cement based primer including preparing surface, primer filling with putty, wherever required, scaffolding, cleaning of surface, removal of stains etc. Complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 11 | Repair of damaged/corroded RCC members etc. by carefully dismantling, chiseling all loose spalled and cracked concrete and plaster till exposing a hard firm surface at any height, level, location, cleaning reinforcement steel thoroughly adding new reinforcement by Welding or as directed, if found necessary de-rusting with sand/ emery papering including chemical cleaning with ‘Rustolin’ or equivalent Indian make, washing with water jet, applying anticorrosive polymer modified protective coating “Sika Rustop” of M/s. Sika Qualcrete or approved equivalent Indian make as per manufacturer recommendation, by bard brush, on exposed clean and dry reinforcement steel, allowing 24 hours time gap for drying and curing, applying a bond coat for old and new concretebonding using latex of M/s Qualcrete or approved equivalent Indian make in cement slurry in the ratio 1:3 (1 latex : 3 water ) or as directed by the Department uniformly on concrete surface including on steel, laying concrete 1:1 ½:3 (1 cement :1 ½ coarse Sand: 3 stone chips 6mm size ) with heavy dash and uniformly to build concrete thickness in between 35 to 60mmmade with plasticizer cum waterproofing admixture like Sika Plastocrete Super or approved equivalent Indian make @ 0.2% by weight of cement on columns, beams, chajjas, slabs, facia etc.including leveling up with cement plaster (1:4) over a coat of cement slurry mixed with Latex in water in the ratio 1:6 (1 latex : 6 water ) or approved equivalent up to athickness of 15mm finished to level, plumb making drip moulds, vatas, corners etc. to match with the existing at any level, location including scaffolding (as per site requirement),providing all manpower, tools, materials etc. on internal & externalsurfaces of all buildings at Anushakti Abasan etc. followed by proper curing, etc. As per manufacturer’s recommendation and direction of EIC etc. complete. |
