Cutting and removal of vegetation, bushes and creepers etc., in operational area beyond basic strip. Wherever tractor and other machineries can not be operated over boundary wall by deploying the unskilled manpower. The contractor is bound to pay the minimum fair wages prevailling at the time of opening the tender and or statutory increase in future during the entire period of the contract by state or central whichever is higher.The contractor has to provide necessary tools as per the requirement.(Note: The current Prevailing minimum wage for un-skilled Workers is Rs.526/day. The agency should not quote his rate below 526/-against this item).

Providing and operating the tractor for clearing of grass/vegetation beyond the basic strip with necessary arrangement like dozer etc., in the operational area including transportating to and fro at the site, fuel, driver and any other incidental breakdown charges on this account etc., as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and operating the tractor for RESA ploughing on either side of Runway with necessary arrangement like ploughing etc., in the operational area including transportating to and fro at the site, fuel, driver and any other incidental breakdown charges on this account etc., as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing support service at Civil maintenance site by deploying one number skilled supervisor for day to day monitoring of works specified under Item No.1 & 2 and to coordinate with ATC tower, CISF for necessary approvalswhile performing works in operational area as directed by the EIC(Note: The current Prevailing minimum wage for skilled Supervisor is Rs.739/day. The agency should not quote his rate below 739/-against this item).
