| 2 | Supply and fixing SQUARE D FENDER of 400mm x 400mm and inner \" D\" 200 mm x 200 mm and upto length 8000mm long (as per drawing), the fender is to be homogeneous black colour and as per site requirement and with all properties as per relevant IS code IS-13848 -1993 and fixed in front of Concrete surface on the sea face of jetty wall with 3 numbers M30 SS 316 bolts per meter of length 300 mm. The fender shall be fixed with a MS galvanized flat Iron of size 100mm x 12mm covering the full length both side of fender complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. The property of rubber shall be as follows :- Deflection - 50%, Reaction force - 34.8 Ton/Meter, Energy absorption - 3 ton-M per meter with a tolerance of -+10%.Before ageing : Tensile strength shall not be less than 17 MPa, Elongation shall not be less than 360% as per ASTM D412, Hardness Max 70° + 5 degree, shore \"A\" as per ASTM D2240. After ageing at 96 hours at 70 (degree) : The tensile strength shall not be less than 80%, Elongation shall not be less than 80% as per ASTM D573 HARDNESS + 8 degree shore A as per ASTM D573, Tear strength shall not be less than 70KN/M, Compression set at 70° C for 24 hours 25% maximum - as per ASTM D395, Abrasion Resistance Maximum 1.5CC as per IS3400 PART III and Ozone resistance -No cracks as per ASTM D 1171. Complete test reports shall be submitted to the accepting officer through GE for approvals. Necessary factory inspection from a rep of accepting officer shall be carried out during manufacturing process, shall be arranged by the contractor . | 4 | Material and labour for removing the existing wooden beading on the kerb of jetty and stacking the serviceable wooden beading for refixing and taking away unserviceable beading under credit, removing the protruded portion of bolts that was used to fix the wooden beading and making good the disturbed/ uneven surface by using ECC with bonding coat to level up the damaged area with minimum 75mm to 100mm thickness including applying seal coat complete and disposing off the debris from Naval Jetty, Karanja and clearing off the site, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.Note :- Quantity of timber which is not reused shall be deposited to user\"s store as directed. |
| 5 | Supply and fix for rubber coping of size 2000x300x200mm depth (or in short lengths to suit the site requirements) and fixed as kerbs on the top of sea face jetty wall with four numbers M24 SS 304 bolts of length 385mm. The fender shall be fixed with a MS galvanized flat of size 100x12mm covering the full length of the fender complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.The property of rubber used shall be as follows :Before ageing : Tensile strength not be less than 17 MPa, Elongation shall not be less than 350% as per ASTM D412, Hardness Max 70° + 5°, Shore \"A\" as per ASTMD2240.After ageing at 96 hours at 70° : The tensile strength not be less than 80%, Elongation shall not be less than 80% as per ASTM D412 hardness + 8° shore A as per ASTM D2240, Tear strength shall not be less than 70 kN/m. Compression set at 70°C for 22 hours 25% maximum as per ASTM D395, abrasion resistance Maximum 1.5CC as per BS 903 A9 and Ozone resistance - no cracks as per ADSTM D1171.All the above test reports shall be provided by the manufacturer. Necessary factory inspection during manufacturing process shall be arranged by the bidder. | 7 | Notes for Serial 01 to 06:- (i) The work shall be carried out by authorised applicator of approved firm only. Regarding sample approval, bidder shall visit the site of work where sample patch of coating is marked before quoting of tender. The coating chemical shall be approved by GE. Necessary guarantee shall also be submitted by the contractor in writing as specified in PS.(ii) The items are to be executed in galleries of jetty (Restricted Work Environment arise duringHigh tide ). The Rate quoted shall be accordingly considered for deemed to be include neccessary steel scaffolding (H frame) , mobilization equipment and other safety equipment as the work to be excuted/carried out in sea area along the Jetty. Nothing will be paid extra on account of Working in difficult area. |
