Item Description
1
Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Retrofit Emision control device for 125 KVA rating stand by DG stes as per latest GOI notification on retrifitting devices emission control and as per existing CPCB guideline and E-In-C\"s policy (A/37696/Gen/Pol/E2W (PPC) dated 29 June 2022).The technology involve in the device should be DPF (Disel particulate filter)/wet Scrubbing Disel oxides catalyst or any other technology .The device should reduce particulate matter (PM 2.5), Carbon Monoxide and Hydrocarbones emitting from Disel engine with guaranteed reduction efficiency 70%. The emission must be tested over an ISO-8178 mode D2 cycle for equivalent KVA rating having a minimum specified particulate matter Carbon monoxide and Hydrocarbon reduction efficiency of at least 70%. The emission control device/equipment must be type approved for engine having minimum swept volume of 05 Liters at any one of the CPCB recognised/approved laboratories as given below (a) Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI, Pune)(b) International Centre for Automotive Testing(ICAT, Manesar) (c) Indian Institute of Petroleum (HP, Dehradun) (d) Vehicle Research Development Establishment (VRDE, Ahmednagar).

NOTES:-(i) The Exhaust emission shall be got tested from any NABL certified labs before selection of RECD.(ii) If the PM 2.5 level is going to be more than the specified levels of CPCB -II even after processing of RECD and reduction of PM by 70%, then No RECD device shall be considered for that DG set. OEM shall be approched for any implimention.(iii) It shall be ensured that all the parameters shall be within limits specified in CPCB -II after provisioning/Installation /commissioning of RECD device.(iv) Test of exhaust emission shall be carried out before and agter the installation of RECD.(v) The contractor shall provide the trial run (Testing) of Emission Control retrofit device. The contractor shall conduct trial run of the RECD with the available electrical load at site. The trial run shall be for Two hours. The electrical loadingshall not be more than the rated capacity of the DG set.(vi) Exhaust piping extra civil works, distribution board shall be provided by the contractor. (vii) All civil works (foundation) and structural works (such as supports etc) required for installation of the equipment as per manufactureres instruction shall be included in thescope of work. MES will provided only powerand space for unloading of the material for carrying out the erection and commissioning works. However unloading of material and handling during erection and commissioning would be scope of the contractor.
